Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Jacksonville

This PaPa John's location is amazing, one of the best (I've eaten at lots of different locations). They're usually pretty quick about getting food out, but be patient when they get busy because they're working hard and will make your food as quickly as possible. The store is clean (cleaner than some others I've seen) and the staff is great! This time when my husband went in to pick up our order, he said the employees were tossing and beating the dough in a very impressive way. They really seemed like veterans of the pizza craft. I haven't ordered delivery from this location before, but I saw a driver leave on a delivery when we pulled up to the store, and they were back before our order was ready. So I'd say they're drivers are efficient! The best thing about this location is the food, though. Papa John's has always been my favorite fast food pizza chain, but over the years I've noticed some changes in the flavor and quality of the pizza. This Jacksonville store, however, has stayed true to the original quality and flavor of the pizza, it's always delicious! I always request extra sauce on my pizza, and they always make sure to put extra sauce on it for me, which I really appreciate! This is also one of the few stores that actually still runs good specials, many Papa J stores have cut back massively on deals. My husband and I have been a regular customer of this Papa Johns for a couple of months now. Formerly the Papa Johns for 8 months in another town here in Arkansas. I honestly DO NOT KNOW WHAT is going on with this store. For the PAST 3 DAYS(my husband loves pizza and breadsticks and the brownies lol.) Thursday took almost 2 hours to have my food delivered. By the time it arrived all the grease soaked thru to rue box and it was cold. Asked for extra garlic sauce and parmesan cheese. Didn't get it. Of course the order was replaced for FREE which THAT order was called in Friday evening. It gets delivered on time with no EXTRA GARLIC SAUCE OR PARMESAN CHEESE!! Oh and my pizza had a fkn HAIR ON IT!! So decided to call today Saturday June 2 2018 because my husband wanted a brownie. Guess what there inside my brownie ANOTHER LONG NASTY HAIR!!!! All food workers are supposed to wear hair nets when making food. And apparently at this Jacksonville location they don't wear or use hairnets. Starting to wonder if these people even use gloves!!!!! My husband and I will not order from this disgusting place ever again. Thanks for the nasty experience. Also the managers that work here are rude. It is not my fault that the workers mess...

So I did order through door dash. So we are a trucker family and he came home over the week today was the day he left for another four months. I didn’t feel like cooking anything. My daughter and I have just been watching movies and crying❤️💕 him going back over the road is always the hardest day but my daughter said she wanted pizza so pizza it was I got the bowl thing and we got cheese stick and of course brownies. We are going to sound like fatties for a minute this food made us feel so good it tasted so good lol. Are new comfort food thank you guys so much. Everything in the order was perfect. And shout out to door dash for delivery early. I know it’s silly but it’s the little thing normally when we order DoorDash it’s messed up from other restraunts. You guys are amazing.
