I had lunch and decided to treat myself to a Sonic Blast. The Sonic on Main Street was conveniently in the same parking lot, so naturally, I pulled in.
When I arrived, there was just one other car, two stalls down. I pressed the button and waited… and waited. I noticed that the other car eventually left without receiving anything, and I faintly heard something over the speaker, but it was completely unintelligible.
At this point, I was the only car in the lot. Still waiting. A few more cars pulled in, and I pressed the button again—just in case the first attempt didn’t register. Still nothing. I didn’t hear any other speakers activate either, so I finally googled the store and called.
When a young lady eventually answered, I asked if they were open. Her response? “I think so.”
…You think so?
She then asked, “What stall are you in?” Instead of responding with, “Oh, I don’t know—maybe the ONLY stall that’s been sitting here for 10 minutes?” I kept my composure and simply told her, “19 or 20.” She acknowledged it, and I hung up, giving them yet another minute.
Nothing.
At this point, I was beyond annoyed and left. But I still wanted a Sonic Blast, so I drove across town to another location—one where they actually acknowledge paying customers.
In doing so, I learned that the District Manager’s name is Will. So, Will, if you’re seeing this, I hope you’ll address whatever malfunction was happening at the Main Street location around 2:30 PM today, where “customer service” was apparently...
Read moreWe usually have a good experience at this sonic, but this occasion was probably the worst in terms of customer service.
We had a mobile order, so we checked in and proceeded to wait for the car hop. When she arrived, she simply gave us our food and left without repeating our order. We didn't even have time to check the bag for missing food before she left. Well, low and behold, we were missing two food items. We pushed the button and waited about 10 or so minutes for someone to answer.
Finally, we told them we were missing items and they said they would send out a manager. We waited about 15-20 minutes and no manager. So, we gave up and went through the drive thru. They came out almost immediately and gave us our food while we were in the drive thru. It had the onions I added to one of the sandwiches, which automatically makes me believe that they had left our extra food bag inside and never brought it out. Plus, it was barely warm.
In the end, we were there for probably 35-40 minutes and ended up with 2 bags of cold food.
I highly suggest just doing the drive thru, just in case you get the wrong food. That way you're already there to...

My order was taken and recited back to me so I trusted it was correct but something told me to check my order and it was incorrect! I pulled up in the order bay to inform the manager that my order was incorrect. The shift manager apologized for the inconvenience and printed out a void ticket and assured me the amount would be credited back to my card in 7-10 business days. Today is April 2, 2017 and I have YET TO RECEIVE THE REFUNDED AMOUT! This is very frustrating! Every time I come to this location, there is always an issue and it is very upsetting! Being in the customer service field, I feel this lack of immediate action is very distasteful, unprofessional and very poor and unacceptable customer service!
