Ā Ā Ā Read moreHow can you eat food from a restaurant when the servers make you feel uncomfortable? How could I know for sure they wouldnāt spoil our meal? Interesting to read other complaints about the service; theyāre spot on to what we had. Came in and everything was okay, wasnāt a full house by any stretch of the imagination, it was a Sunday evening around 730-8pm. We had our dog with us and chose to sit outside while we made our order. Long story short, after a 45 minute wait and an extremely rude and sarcastic server, we decided on a refund. He lied, assumed position as the shift manager, and refused to give me a refund. Finally he said he would, then avoided me completely and attended other customers who werenāt even asking for his services; meanwhile Iām waiting another half hour just to get someone elseās attention to let me leave with my refund, because the only option this guy was giving me was to eat the food. Imagine a jerk handing you food, would you feel comfortable eating it? So we lost at least an hour an a half, didnāt eat, dealt with bad attitudes, and they didnāt even give us a complete refund; the invoice didnāt include tax nor our tip. I contacted the restaurant directly as I have a copy of the invoice and donāt appreciate young men with big egos pretending to be someone with authority. Complete disrespect to peopleās time, peopleās money and emotions....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe waited a few weeks to let this location iron out the wrinkles but it still has the look of someone who slept at a bus terminal. We went at lunchtime on a weekend. Inside already had a worn out appearance and was sparsely furnished and dark even with lights on. The bartender greeted us and was pleasant but called another staff member to take our order. He was also friendly but as far as we could tell these were the only employees there. He took our order. We got our own soft drinks. One burger was ordered well done and no preference on the second. Half of each burger was fine but the other half was definitely uncooked although it was browned just on the outside. On the good side the fries were very good, looking like thin planks with seasoning and a generous serving. The bartender did come over and asked if we wanted a box so we didnāt need to go to the counter to get one. We ended up boxing up the burgers and cooking them at home. So overall, the atmosphere was dark and beat up, the two employees we interacted with were nice, and the fries were good. Whoever was on the grill that day was either careless, unqualified and/or indifferent. With all of the other burger places up Old St. A Rd. This place is really going to have to improve or convert to a bar only because it seems unlikely they can make it as a restaurant. It is unlikely we will...
