Sweet Sushi & Grill — Restaurant in Jacksonville

I knew this location when it was Mizu Sushi & Grill previously and was saddened when that closed. I was pleasantly surprised when Sweet Sushi opened their doors in September! My wife and I visited for the first time tonight and had a wonderful experience! Our waitress Haylee (I apologize if I spelled her name wrong) was a delight! We ordered 3 rolls and chicken fried rice to split but before we even ordered we were sat at a booth with hot clear soup awaiting us; nice touch. Once we ordered our drinks and food the chicken fried rice came out quickly and was perfectly hot. The chicken was tender and the rice was perfect with the right amount of egg tossed in. Our sushi landed about 5-10 minutes after and was just as wonderful. My wife, who is less adventurous with her sushi, got 2 fried rolls and loved them. I chose the Sweet Sushi Roll, which is comprised of spicy salmon, crab, cucumber, avocado, and fish eggs. This was phenomenal, the sushi was delicious and the salmon was the right amount of spice. So I work across the street at the bravoz, and I had asked a few of my coworkers if they've had any yet and they said no. So I asked a friend if they wanted something and said yes, so I went over there. As soon I walked through the door I was greeted by a lovely hostess, and I sat down and I couldn't believe how nice they were. All the staff were very pleasant and friendly and Haylee, the hostess, had asked what I was in the mood for today and how my day was going, let me just say the customer service is beyond expectations and is above and beyond. They had given me a complimentary soup and Crab meat with an eel sauce of some sort while I perused the menu deciding what to get. The Crab was Delightful and the Soup was Fragrant and had hints of beef in the broth, not only that but the efficiency of the workers and the time it took to make Sushi was like watching a live orchestra before my very eyes. But overall The customer service is Amazing and the cuisine is all the better, I highly recommend coming here with friends and family, very good eats at an affordable price! I'll be coming here more often...

The plates of food are brought out looking like a piece of art, so BREATHTAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL you can't help but want to take a picture! As if that wasn't enough to entice you to try Sweet Sushi and Grill, the beauty of the food is second to the flavor, the taste, the layering, and the portioning... All PERFECTION! The Sushi Chefs at Sweet Sushi and Grill rival top sushi chefs in Japan!

The wait from when you order your food to when the first course begins is less than 10 minutes. The pacing at which they bring out the appetizer and then the salads, the soup, the main course and then dessert is timed to PERFECTION as well. It is their attentive servers and PHENOMENAL customer service coupled with the ambiance and sushi itself that make this a MUST Experience in Jacksonville!

I am already looking forward to my next visit to Sweet...
