My family and I have waited all day for 2 days now for the confirmed delivery of our furniture that was scheduled to be here yesterday, 6/10 between 3-7pm. Around 645pm yesterday after receiving no calls or updates on my late delivery I phoned your company. I was kept on hold for over 11 minutes and told my delivery was delayed and would arrive yesterday evening by 9:02pm. It never arrived. I still have yet to receive a phone call. Today at 843am I called your company, I made 8 calls in total today to attempt to find out what was going on. Not only did I speak to 6 different people today and 2 different people via your chat. Several assured me that the delivery was coming today. No one knew what happened. I was given several excuses as to why it never came, the most important one was that dispatch was NOT EVEN AWARE that the driver did not deliver. Not only was I not delivered to yesterday, but 16 other customers also did not get delivered to, nor did they receive any communication from your company according to your staff. I was sent a screen shot of my order by a representative via chat this morning that showed me my delivery was still pending in the system for last night at 9:53pm (knowing based on their words that your company stops delivery at 7pm) which contradicts what I was told last night that my furniture would arrive by 9:02pm. This screen shot ALSO included YOUR COST on the furniture I just purchased. How completely unprofessional. After a long day of many phone calls Iâm told they will not reschedule my delivery and I will receive an EMAIL from your company in 24-48 hours for ME to reschedule myself????? Even knowing that it was an internal issue with your company I am left with no furniture, 2 days of work lost, and the uncertainty of knowing where my furniture even is at this point as no one could tell me, nor would a supervisor take my escalated calls. Still at this moment I do not know where my furniture is, when it will be delivered, and I honestly feel like I now work for you having to call every department all day to still get no help, and pressure your employees to assist me.

My daughter and I have been the unfortunate consumers who went there on Labor Day (September 6) for their sale so she could buy her first nice piece of furniture for her new house. Her goal: to set up her home office and she needed a new, solid wood desk. We should have realized it was going to be a disaster when the incompetent sales person took more than 2 hours to write up the sale and kept trying to upsell the order. $1,000+ later, we then learned that it would be weeks till the delivery was to be made. Unfortunately, that is the way life is these days. The day finally arrived yesterday. Liz received a text about the delivery and how to track it but was wrong. They randomly showed up. When she answered the door they did not identify themselves as delivery from Ashleyâs. NO identification, and the desk wrapped in a blanket. NO hardware to put it together and the top scratched. After hours on the phone with corporate they said they would return tomorrow before noon. Today, after 2 hours on the phone trying to determine where the delivery might be, and hours later than expected, a man showed up, again, NO identification, or Ashleyâs uniform, in an Enterprise truck and could not speak English. How is a single female expected to admit an unknown man into her house under these circumstances? Being desperate to complete this disastrous transaction, she did, but the legs he brought were brokenâŚhow can wrought iron legs be broken and not noticed? They were! Enough information⌠I am an irate mother who is incensed over the corporate office taking such unprofessional actions toward my daughter. She is adult, making her own hard earned money trying to appropriately spend it to her advantage and to be treated this shabbily is not to be accepted. This piece of furniture arrived scratched, broken and they walked out on her leaving it in her hall and blocking the front door. If Ashleyâs wants to have young professionals purchase furniture from them, this is NO way to demonstrate...
   Read moreThese people are absolutely incompetent. They do not inspect furniture before it leaves the warehouse and don't be surprised if you receive broken, chipped, and/or scratched items. In fact, anything that leaves this warehouse should be expected to be broken or damaged. That is their standard. In our case, we tried to have our furniture delivered three times and they tried to pass off the same broken furniture on the third delivery attempt. It's pretty pathetic when the nice delivery man witnesses the broken furniture while testing the drawers. The corporate office here will not help you; they will only aggravate you more when you try to settle your disputes. The customer service woman is a liar and in my opinion should not be working anywhere near customer service. Her skill-set is better suited for non-interaction. Total incompetence all the way around at this warehouse. Such a shame because the showroom sales people were very nice at River City, they were courteous and a pleasure to do business with. We have spent over $10,000 over the years here and we will never spend another dollar with Ashley again. What a loss for the company, all because they couldn't deliver undamaged and working furniture, even after three attempts.
