Tacos Doña Maria 2 — Restaurant in Jacksonville

This used to be Mi Casa and it was fantastic. New owners took over. The food is just okay but overpriced. Got a quesadilla that was with nothing and paid too much. Can get same thing at Moes. When we arrived (6 of us) there was one other table of two. The waiter spent more time in the corner flirting with the other waitress than taking care of us. One more table of four came in and got served before us. We were told it was because “we were a big table”. Six instead of four plus the tip was already added. When we finally got our food it was brought out one at a time with about 5 minutes in between so we did not all eat together. Never had drinks refilled without having to get his attention. Terrible to see this place go so far downhill....

Went in on a weekday afternoon to pickup some lunch. Ordered 3 tortas and 1 house burrito, all carne asada. It was DELICIOUS!! Inside was very clean and the artwork on the wall was awesome, it made for a very nice atmosphere. The portions were big and all the food was ready in no more than 10 minutes. Absolutely going to keep this place on my radar and can’t wait to go back. Definitely going to keep my eye out for the food truck around town too, would love to...

This place started out as a food truck that my wife and I would frequent whenever we were in the mood for tacos. Their food is always consistent in flavor and presentation.
