I was very excited to see the new reopening and brith of Treata Tea! We had been around for a while and loved their drinks but I definitely feel like they could update their menu with new flavors, ideas, etc. They still have all the same drinks from before, but have added Brown Sugar Milk Tea, Taro milk tea, Alpine Green tea, and signature oolong tea to the menu. Ai-Yu jelly is the only new topping to the menu. They are also getting rid of the stamps and now putting in place a point rewards system starting March 1st which is a slight downside. Today, I tried the Shizuoka matcha latte and my sister got the brown sugar milk tea. They told me that they renamed it because they changed how they made it but it’s still the same. For me, it tasted more like half and half than matcha. It definitely could have been a bit more flavorful but it’s still refreshing. For the brown sugar milk tea, this drink definitely has a large emphasis on the MILK. It has very little brown sugar drizzle on the sides so it tastes like 80% milk and 20% brown sugar. Compared to other people’s pictures, my sister had very little. It wasn’t as great as we hoped for because it was so heavy on the milk but I still enjoyed sipping on it. The boba was a slight disappointment as well. It was more difficult to chew into and when you would try to drink through your straw, the boba on the bottom of the cup was clumped together. They were kind of stuck together and difficult to drink which made it sad to say. I really do have high hopes and expectations for this place but I hope to come back when they come out with more innovative ideas! I would still recommend to try their fruit drinks and teas, but they could have done better!

We’ve been coming to treata for years at least once a week and have never had issues before but today we were 1 of 3 customers who had problems with their orders in the 10 minutes we spent waiting. My wife got a herbal tea drink with cheese foam and there was no cheese foam in it. I went back and mentioned it to the employee who said there was cheese foam but they mixed it into the drink which was a lie because you could not taste it. Also I have a hard time believing there was white cheese foam mixed into a dark drink when we couldn’t see any sign of it in it. I asked them why they mixed it which I got a muffled answer for and then asked if they could add cheese foam to the drink because clearly there was none in it and wanted me to pay for it again? Sad to say but we won’t be coming here for awhile if again. We’ll stick to moge tea where our orders are always correct and if for some reason they make and error they happily fix it.

A boba tea shop open late night hours?! Yes please! This is in a convenient spot off beach Blvd close to the colleges here in Jax. They have cute board games you can sit and play inside the store. I always see students in here catching up with one another, studying, or taking advantage of some of the games provided, I love to see that! The drinks I’ve tried here over the past year are always good. I like that you are able to adjust the sweetness to the teas, that is always a perk. Whenever I ask the staff questions about a flavor of a drink, they are always helpful. I was also allowed to film here to feature this small business on a fellow 1-5 star rated review company back in April or May. The two employees working were extremely helpful and the video came out quite nicely which debuted on Instagram as part of a collaborative piece. I enjoy grabbing teas to go from Treata and will continue to.

My favorite boba shop in town. The boba-ristas are always so nice and patient. Great music, atmosphere, and a neat mural on the wall!

Updated: I have been going here since it was called "Who's Tea", to "Naga Tea", then to "Treata Tea Shoppe". This boba shop used to be one of my favorites, but the last two times I was there in the past 2 months, I noticed there were some changes in the recipes. For instance, one of my regular drinks, the matcha latte (100%), tasted like straight matcha powder and was not sweet at all, was like if I got it at 25%. The second time, I ordered an oolong milk tea latte (100%), and my drink came without the milk and even had the tea bag inside. I have never EVER had a fruit tea served to me at any boba shop with the tea bag in the cup. I couldn't even take it out unless I remove the plastic seal from the top; it progressively got bitter. The rewards system has also changed: instead of a "Free Handcrafted Drink" for 150 treats (points) it is increased to 180, however they added a new rewards option of "One drink for 50% off" at 100 treats. Nonetheless, the employees are still nice and the place is kept clean, but they have been inconsistent with their recipes lately, and as a regular, I...

Last week on Sunday June 1st around 2-3pm an Employee named Sierra’s boyfriend came in and was aggressive towards my brother and tried to fight him, I used to come here all the time with my friends but I will not be coming back, terrible experience. Edit: 1. My brother’s not some random guy thats her ex, so if he wanted her info, he already had it. On May 9th around 12–1 PM, he went there with a guy who was giving him a ride after an exam. That guy asked the employee if she was there and showed old pic of her and my brother because the guy was trying to humiliate him. My brother told him to stop and said he didn’t want to be associated with him SEVERAL times. Not once did he ask about her. Check the cameras on Sunday, my brother went in and sat in the farthest corner from the counter while waiting for a friend for like 5 minutes. After that we went next door to eat and we came back just to grab a tea later. None of us said anything to her or even looked at her. Then out of nowhere, her boyfriend came storming in acting aggressive before I stepped in. There was no harassment coming from us at all. the only person harassing was her boyfriend. Check the cameras before...
