Kernan Square — Local services in Jacksonville

I went to the liquor part of this Publix yesterday just to purchase some lottery tickets and lemme' tell y'all what, the obviously grumpy or somethin' clerk working at the time shouldn't be working customer service st all! His disposition sucked and he didn't even smile much less really acknowledge me (nor, anyone else that happened to come in for that matter) with even a, hello. I mean shooo'ooot, hearing him say, get lost would have been so much better 🤣, jk I thought about doing a little bit of grocery shopping after purchasing a few lottery tickets in the liquor part of Publix but because of this clerk I chose not to even walk next door to the grocery...

Kernan square has a Publix that me and my sister like shopping at. They have a pharmacy and a liquor store inside that Publix, and Kernan square has a sub shop, several places to eat, a wonderful Mexican food place to eat that has $6.99 all-you-can-eat buffets every weekday, there is a Ruby Tuesday's in the parking lot, a Hair Cuttery place and I believe some type of medical place in there. I'm at this shopping square about 2 times per day and sometimes more. I use the UPS store once a month, always excellent customer service there. But the main reason I go is Publix. The Publix here is so clean, properly staffed year round and the premises are kept up. I also use the Chinese take out for simple white rice. There's a UF Health clinic, Mexican and Italian food but none of those three have earned my return. Not bad service just not memorable nor...
