Are you looking for a fun location to have your kid's little league post game celebration? Are you looking for a welcoming bar to catch the game and enjoy one of like 50 local/craft/domestic/import tasty brews on tap? Are you looking for a fun stress free date night of live music, music bingo, or trivia? If you answered yes to any (or all) of those questions, V's in Mandarin is your place. There is a large play area outback for the kiddos that is within eyesight of the outdoor dining area, as well as almost all of the indoor dining area. There is a staggering amount of beers on tap with detailed menus for you to find what fits you best. There are around a dozen TVs inside and a couple outside so you'll never miss the big plays from whatever team you root for. They have a solid roster of traditiinal/specialty pizzas on their menu that can all be customized to your liking. They even have gluten free and cauliflower crusts available! Their pizza stable is complemented by the weekly special pizzas that can be anything from Mediterranean, to Philly Cheesesteak, to Cuban, to whatever else they come up with. There are a ton... I have tried MANY of them and have never been let down. V's also has excellent chicken wings, salads, and macaroni. All of the delicious food is reason enough for me to keep going back, but it does not begin to compare to the friendly service and hospitality that is flowing through that place. From the front door to the bar staff, everyone is determined to make your day better. This restaurant is a little chunk of sunshine in a world that isn't always rain free. One complaint... They painted the outside of their gorgeous pizza ovens. These beauties were clad in a pleasing white and orange tile spelling out "Mandarin" and "Amore" respectively. They now have a boring dark gray paint that is about as charming as puddle water. Other than that,...
Read moreThis one is hard to write...because I really like this place. The atmosphere is always good. The employees are always extremely friendly and helpful. We have been coming to the the Mandarin location since they opened. The food is usually good. We are regulars in the sense that we visit maybe once a month. Usually 4-6 family members and cost of usually $200 plus each time.
Last night we ordered a cheese pizza as soon as arriving for our 3 year old grandson so so when he gets restless he is good to go with food. It took over an hour to get it and that was with us asking 3 different times about when it might be coming out. Service is usually good so that surprised us. They should of taken it off the bill but did not.
The other problem and this is the main concern is that the ac doesn't work in the front part of the restaurant. We have asked over the last 3 or 4 trips there about it??? Yesterday with the temps outside in the mid 90's the temp in the area we were sitting was not much better. There was a lady at the next table that had a little portable fan with her since she knew what to expect. I asked one of the employees about the ac and they said "you might want to complain about it on social media since no body wants to do anything about it" WOW!!!
Of note, the Bar Manager was great. Great service at the bar and she had employees coming around to the tables to take orders so people would not have to stand in long lines at the bar. Cudos to her.
Hoping they will fix the ac problem soon. We really don't want to stop...
Read moreMy husband and I stopped into V Pizza for a casual dinner and beverage and were extremely and pleasantly surprised with the entire experience. The pizza was delicious! We ordered the white pizza topped with shredded chicken and it was delish to say the least! We also ordered the grilled wings and boy, let me tell you, they were scrumptious! Each wing was so tender on the inside and perfectly chargrilled on the outside. The wings were topped with caramelized onions complimenting the dish perfectly. I can guarantee one thing after our experience at V Pizza tonight—we’ll certainly be back! Our experience was so pleasant tonight that we’ve agreed to be intentional in scheduling time to return. The white pizza was enjoyable and was thoroughly enjoyed but the chicken surprisingly was our top rated and most quickly consumed entree. We were especially glad we ordered the large portion (10 count), they were that good!
On the back patio there was live music to enjoy. Most of the families sat outside to dine. The parents all seemed to be sipping a beverage while the children enjoyed the swing-set and fenced in play area. Truly a win/win for everyone!
The restaurants beer garden was complete with a wall of beer taps serving mostly IPAs and locally brewed products. All food is ordered at the front counter. Plates, utensils and soft drinks are self serve and your meal is delivered to the table incrementally. Each food entree and/or pizza is served once individually ready not necessarily all together. Just FYI. 😄
5 STARS OUT OF 5...
