Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Jacksonville

I love zaxbys food. It's my comfort food. I travel a lot and always look for a zaxbys whereever I'm at. This experience wasn't good. The line at the drive thru wrapped around the building. Understandable cause everyone loves zaxbys. It went by pretty quickly. The girl taking orders was like a robot. Except a robot could be programed to use manners. This girl did not. No smile, no thank you, not even a you're welcome after I said thank you. I'm not even sure if she was human. Lol. The woman ( manager) at the next window was nice. The food however, not good. I ordered 10 wings and 5 boneless wings with garlic sauce. My total, 27.00. I understand inflation and all so I wasn't too upset until I looked at the food. The boneless wings were barely bites. I literally got 5 bites of food. The bill was so high because they charged me $2 for the garlic sauce they dip them in and also $ 2 for each ranch. I've never been charged extra for sauce that they dip them in and every meal comes with 1 ranch or blue cheese. I was charged a total of $8 for ranch and the sauce they dip them in for 2 dishes. I'm sorry but even with inflation that upcharge is insane. And there's nothing on the menu that says anything about a upcharge . In the last 10+ years of going to zaxbys I've never been charged for these things. Zaxbys has lost a loyal customer and her family of loyal customers. 3x a year me and my 4 college age kids and their girlfriends meet at zaxbys and order a huge spread of food and I spend over $200 for this each time. My kids are boys and they can EAT! But we will be finding a different place to meet up because that sauce uncharged would break this bank . Hate to break up with you zaxbys but honestly,...

The workers at this zaxby are very very rude. I went by to pick up an online eats order on July 23, 2024 between 5pm and 6pm. I gave the black fat lady the customers name she said confirm the order. I said maam i cannot confirm and you did not show me or give me the order. She walked away and told a white girl she said is manager to come deal with me. She came with the same attitude confirm the order. I said maam can you show me the order and is their drinks with the order she push the customer food towards me hiss her teeth and whispered "get out my store and don't come back here". Then she told the fat black girl to wipe me off the screen and don't have me come back there. I said to her you damn rude to be talking to me like that. The fat black girl took me on oh don't talk to my manager like that, she's the manager and am rude. Now this is not the first time i encountered their rudeness and others like myself does not take zaxby order because of the rude workers inside there. If i have start a social media campaign against the workers at this store i will or the owners need to get rid of them. Am gonna get the three names and post them. Customers are the backbone of businesses and you cannot allow ill mannered persons to be continuously disrespecting people. And she's rude that i should be kicked out of the store. Whoever the owner is do something about it. Kick that white girl she's rude. Too much negative remarks surrounding this location and it can't be good for...

Update 11/12/22: not much has changed in the last few months. If the dining room isn't full there's usually no issue getting a drink or a napkin, but count on one of the drink machines being broken or out of syrup. Drive through is still fast. Prices have gone up unfortunately, but that was to be expected these days. Update 6/12/22: bumping my review down to 3 stars because I brought my kids back a couple days later to find the drink machines in the dining room on the fritz again!

Update 6/10/22: the dining room is finally open again! There weren't many customers when I went, so there were no traffic jams at the drink machines (both of which were in working order). The main reason I bumped this location from 2 stars to 4 is their drive thru efficiency has improved so dramatically since the pandemic. They've also managed to keep their prices reasonable so far...hopefully they can keep it that way in these challenging times. You want fast fresh fingers at a fair price? This drive through is for you.

Food is actually pretty good, and the cashiers are usually friendly enough. 2 stars are for the 2 coke 360 machines that are constantly on the fritz, and the single napkin dispenser for the whole restaurant (located between the malfunctioning drink dispensers).
