My experience at China House was nothing short of amazing, as they had exceeded my expectations in every way possible. Going in, I had high hopes for this place, as Chinese food is my favorite food of all time. As I go in, the atmosphere already heightened my experience due to the pleasant redolence that emitted from the masterful skills of the chef. My anticipation as a waiting mouth to take in the saporous food that awaits from the gleaming kitchen was enough to make me want to order one of everything on the menu. As I walk up to the front counter, the owner greets me with a smile that is nothing short of god-like, as it had instantly warmed my heart comparable to how the Grinch's heart grew three times in size. I order my food. My mouth watering from just thinking about my order as I tell it to the convivial owner. As I finish my order, I proceed to wait next to the soda machine, which is positioned next to their diverse selection of condiments. The wait did not take that long, and I pick up my order from the counter. The nice young gentleman who offered up my order said with a genuine smile and a line that I will never forget: "Here's your food sir". I pick up my food, and I quickly leave out the front door. My meal had met my expectations and more. After finishing my meal, I immediately wanted to order there once more; I had not even noticed that I was full at the time. My experience at China House was breathtaking, and to this day I am still dumbfounded as to how a Chinese restaurant, let alone any business, is enough to leave such an...
Read moreWalked in and no greeting. Get ready to place my order and the cashier says in am aggravated tone "what do you want". I placed my order and sat at a table to eat. When my food was ready she my order out for me to walk back to counter to get it. After I sat down I realized i needed a drink. I got back up and grabbed a Arizona $.99 drink which was marked on the cooler door as $1.50. I approached the counter to pay and tje cashier says nothing to me and walked off to grab something at the fryer. I waited for her return to see if tax was needed but again she said nothing to me. I gave $1.50 exact change and returned to my seat. When a gentleman customer came in after me to dine in, she was polite, friendly and even brought his food to his table asking him if he needed any condiments. Another customer (female) walked in and placed an order and she as also polite to this customer, even using manners. As I'm eating my less than stellar food I'm noticing that only the top is smoking hot and the bottom is actually cold. I ordered a beef and broccoli and it was not good to say the least! I will never spend my money here again and i would encourage anyone else to do the same if you want good food and...
Read moreWe were really looking forward to Chinese food when we ordered from here but after a few bites, neither of us could eat much more. I ordered the beef & broccoli lo mein & my bf had sweet & sour chicken, both were very salty, way too much msg (I drank 2 big glasses of water and was still thirsty an hour later) The veggies were soft and full of soy sauce, biting into the broccoli it immediatly turns to mush and your mouth is full of soy sauce, that's all you could really taste. The beef strips were so thin, it didn't have any taste either. The pieces of chicken are a decent size but again, tasted terrible. The spring & eggrolls were good, but that was about it, totally not worth the $30 something we paid for all of this. It's unfortunate because we really wanted good Chinese food, this...
