4 Below Haggy's Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Jamestown

Very clean nice restaurant. The menu online does not match the menu in restaurant though. Everything in restaurant is more expensive. No kids menu. Only had one highchair so we were unable to use it. My husband got a build your own steak wrap for about $8.50 it was delicious but very small portion. My brother got a steak salad for $10 again, very small portion he said the steak was very dry. I got the bacon bourbon smash burger for $12. I have a dairy allergy and I asked for no butter or cheese. The waitress was very nice and said she checked with the kitchen that the pretzel bun did not have dairy. It was served and was covered in butter and cheese. When I addressed this she was very nice and took the burger back and brought me a new one. This time it didn’t have any salt on the pretzel bun, no cheese or butter though so that’s good. I had to wait until my entire table was done eating. My son’s French fries were yummy. Overall, pretty good service and a great atmosphere. Walking into the restaurant I noticed it was cleaned and decorated beautifully. I waited a few minutes to be seated but no one came so I ended up seating myself. Waited a few more minutes for someone to say something to me. Finally the waitress came over introducs herself nicely. Even though I kinda had an idea of what I was going to order she didn't offer any specials they clearly had posted on Facebook that day... I oder the Philly Cheese Steak egg rolls which were delicious but fried a bit dark for me. I'm guessing the oil needs to be changed or filter. I order a burger with all the fixings that was juicy and seasoned with onions rings which were okay. The owner was nice enough to introduce himself. Overall my experience was good but if I may suggest something it would be for the staff to speak to each customer that walks through the door. I will go back to eat and try...

Popped in here due to the good ratings and sadly was very disappointed. The young girl working there on Tuesday night really didn’t want to be there. I asked for a menu for drinks and was told there wasn’t one. I then asked what cocktails they do and she said anything - I asked what she would recommend or what she can make and she shrugged and said not sure as she doesn’t drink. I then gave up and just asked for a slushy with vodka in it. She then spent the rest of our time looking miserable and clearly watching the clock. We had planned on staying longer but felt so unwelcome we left after 1 drink and went elsewhere. The 2 other gentlemen there didn’t seem to impressed either. Such a shame as the place has so much potential! Sort your staff out and get some menus then...
