Bucky's Lucky Bell Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Janesville

Stopped in for corned beef and cabbage on St. Patrick's day and will not be back. The place was 2/3 empty and it still took 2 hours to get our food which was terrible. Bar service was non-existant and the waitress was very slow to come around and take a drink order. The beers got dropped and she was off again and we waited another 20 min to put in our food order. After 40 min of having empty beers she finally came back and asked if we wanted another beer. Then the food comes out. Corned Beef was the saltiest food item I've ever been served; inedible. The potatoes were flavorless and raw inside and the cabbage tasted like cardboard. Sit there while my wife and daughter eat and then we all sit there waiting for the waitress who comes back and tells me I should have put the butter on the potatoes. GTFO. Told her I just wanted the bill (they did take the uneaten entree off the bill to their credit). Waitress drops the bill with big attitude and walks away. After sitting there to pay the bill we have all had enough and I just go to the bar to pay it. Waitress ignores me and I'm forced to wave cash and the bill in the air to get someone's attention. I put it on the bar and we left. This place is terrible....

Used to go and get lunch and gamble and the food was always good. The one day i sat down to gamble BEFORE i ordered lunch i was harassed about the machines only being for paying customers. Rather than explain i was planning on eating later i asked for the money back and took my business elsewhere and planned on not returning off the principle of assuming i wasn't a "paying customer" 🙄 recently a friend of mine wanted to grab lunch so i put aside my dislike and decided to try them out again. Ordered 2 burgers between us and took over an hour to be brought out, and when they finally got it to the table the cheese was solid, burger lukewarm n fries cold. On top of that the music was so loud i could barely hear my friend across the table. Definitely...

This was my first time here and my husband's second time. Our waitress (Dee) was absolutely fantastic! There was several people at the bar and several tables eating and she was all by herself (except for i saw someone help bring out food) and she took care of all of us so quickly and with a smile. From bartending to waitresses to bussing tables and running food she was doing it all! My husband and I ordered the brisket, which was delicious, the kids got chicken n fries which they raved about and the pub chips and beans were also fantastic!
