My wife and I decided to have dinner at carrabba's at 10110 US highway 19 north on the 28th of August. We placed our food order plus we chose two $10.00 take home meal. Everything was going good as far the sitting we has chosen and waiter was Mite. Things went down hill quickly from that point. First of all the meal we ordered was delivered to our table before the soup as the person who delivered the meal equally surprise that the soap wasn't delivered prior to the main meal. So we waited 15 minutes for the soup to be delivered to our table. Furthermore my wife's meal was completely dry and luke warm at best. The restaurant manager happened to stop our table to see how things were going, so that point we decided to file a complaint regarding the above service and explain to the manager that we not happy with experience thus far. The manager agreed that should have never happened and my wife meal back the cooking area to have them remake her meal and add alfredo sauce to the fettuccine, however that turned to be another almost 20 minute wait. Manager comp the entire bill for exception $5+change. The waiter MITE after taking the order not once checked on us to see if our meal was served correctly and if we needed anything. This entire horrible experience could have been corrected quickly if the waiter would have been more attentive to the customers food order and making sure that the entire meal was prepared correctly before it being delivered to the table but unfortunately he was not as he was paying more attention to tables with 6-8 tops. My wife asked the manager to provide with some more alfredo sauce for the 2nd take home. The manager that he go get us a little alfredo sauce for the 2nd meal, however after waiting another 15 minutes at the table the manager never returned. Thank you for the manager who comp our meal for bad service from our waiter MITE. But unfortunately the manager also decided to add to our already bad experience by not returning with the request of more alfredo sauce. So entire experience at Carrabba's on US highway 19 was completely disastrous and will never return to that establishment ever. Plus what was worst that the waiter MITE was never corrected for providing bad service which in turn cost the restaurant to comp a $71+ dollar meal. Horrible...
Read moreI made a reservation for Christmas Eve. I made it days prior and told the young lady, 6 ppl for 6pm. I arrive a few minutes early with my family and the host tells us it’ll be 25-30 min. I stated “I can see that it’s busy but that’s why we made a reservation”. The host responds to me, “I don’t know what tables are available or which servers can take more tables”. I stand to the side and see him tell about 10 other groups the same thing, only he’s more frustrated and becoming more unprofessional with his responses: “as you can see we didn’t expect to be this busy”, “ I can’t tell you how long you’ll have to wait”, “I’m up here by myself” “I don’t know who’s next you’ll have to wait”. I realized then, the manager should be held responsible and be there to help this kid who is clearly overwhelmed and not equipped to handle the high volume that Christmas Eve brings. I stopped a server to get him to grab the front of the house manager to come help this poor kid. This elderly gentleman comes slowly wobbling up to the host stand and does his best to deescalate the situation. There was another hostess also who was running back and forth between servers, tables, and guests. We finally got sat after 35 minutes of wait time when we originally made a reservation. Our server was great and I got the full story that both the hosts were not full time employees, they attend college and are seasonal employees!! Both of them have gone months without working and just came home for holiday break and got put to work the busiest night of the holidays! It wasn’t their fault, clearly management are in way over their head to think they can run front of house for a high volume restaurant. Food was ok, very salty but we did get it in a timely manner which I appreciate. So on Tuesday evening my boyfriend and I went in for dinner as this was our first time ever going to a Carrabba's we were quickly seated without hesitation our waiter within minuets came over to us and got our drinks was very friendly with answering our questions and explaining their promotion that they have going on which is an amazing deal! Mite our server for the evening never let our drinks run out kept checking in on us every few minutes. He took our order for apps and our meals but stated he could put our meals on hold until we were ready. The apps came out really quickly and he was accommodating with allergies and paid close attention to it and reassured me that he told the chef about it. As soon as we were ready for our meals he had them out in less than 10 minutes everything was cooked perfectly as we requested. The other staff members also helped to make sure our table was clear of any used dishes that we no longer needed without hesitation. Mite did an amazing job. We were sat near the bar an the gentleman at the bar I believe his name was dragon handled an upset customer amazingly even though the customer was completely in the wrong in the whole situation. The manager at the time Mikala was amazing she handled the bar customer amazingly. We asked to speak with her just before we left so we could give our thanks and all and she had quickly came over without hesitation listened to everything we had to say and was very polite explained a few more things about the menu that we didn't realize/know she was amazing I cant say enough good things about this location.
