DON'T BUY MAJOR APPLIANCES THAT NEED DELIVERY AND INSTALL I went in to buy a washer and dryer, top of line maytag, not cheap. They don't have them in store. So, I ordered it on line. I bought the installation package. I got rid of old appliances to prep for new ones to wash floor underneath. HD install company came and dumped the appliances out. The dryer was dented. They said they could not I stall the washer because the warehouse did not give them the parts I ordered. No one could get me an apt to install the washer. I could say a lot more bad things about installation people but this would be too long. The store could not help because it was an online order. Big hug to Sheri, in the store, who at least tried her best. But I have been on the phone non stop for 2 full days trying to get the appliances installed, earliest date over 10days away. I have been hung up on more times than anywhere, no one has called me back as promised. HD feels it is fine that I have to go to the laundromat. I have not been in a laundromat since I was 18 years old. I have lots of laundry to wash, a brand new washer, but have to go to the laundromat to clean my clothes? I was offered to hire a handiman on my own. HD said they would reinburse me but the amount they cover may not cover the installation and would not tell me how much thet would cover or the supplies I already payed them for to install.i have been on the phone arguing nonstop for 2+ days. This was supposed to be a Merry Christmas gift to me. This was such a bad experience I cannot tell you. I should have just kept my old Appliances. These new appliances aren't worth the hassle. Such stress and anxiety they gave me an headache my stomach in knots. Go elsewhere if anything needs install. It is not Christmas present at all. I am so sorry I got mixed up in this. The man from the flooring department, (I apologize for misplacing his name) was beyond helpful. He not only showed me some options available at Home Depot, but; took the time to look up what I was in search of. Upon realizing he could only offer alternatives, which he did; he also informed me as to where I could locate what I originally had set out to buy. I have noticed a significant change in the storeās demeanor as a whole over the last 4-6 months give or take. I had called Home Depot on two separate occasions last year in regards to the attitudes of their employees. Upon receiving the same tone, by more than one employee, on a different day, I once again called Home Depot. However, this time; I made it clear I was bringing a very evident managerial issue to their attention. I am hoping that there is a new manager at this location, if so, this person is great for morale. If there isnāt a new manager and the current happens to be on some sort of hiatus, I strongly suggest you contemplate moving that individual back into that position, never mind the actual store. If not to retain your current clientele, please do it for your employees. I have a good relationship with most of the employees But one day there was a new manager, and they did not like my joke when I said that Loweās was better So therefore, they want to trespass me. Itās OK for people to let animals loose and their parking lot but somebody who spends over $100,000 a year there they would like to trespass. They never made good on the order they messed up on. I also had them come to pick materials up and they hit a tree and drop the materials in the driveway and said they couldn't pick up any materials. Order $8800 in materials. Deliver to jobsite the wrong materials and materials that are moldy. Customer service is the worst. January alone i spent $20,000 in this home depot. The solution was ākind gesture to return $500ā the district manager claims they did not deliver any materials wrong. Hereās a picture proof. You can see white tags (premium boards) and a whole bundle of orange tags (standard boards). They also have not parking for trailers or let alone any parking space. A1 sits in parking lot and tows vehicles daily!! Just expanded a rental center but cant solve the issues with the property managers to get A1 to stop towing people work trucks.
