Each time I have been here over the past couple years it seems to get worse. The staff would rather socialize than take care of their guests. Whether you're left standing and waiting to be seated or told to sit wherever and someone will be with you and no one ever comes. It takes 20 minutes to even get seated or get your drinks, even if the place is empty. They speak loudly and rudely to each other for everyone to hear and often seem confused on what people order, missing items, and what goes with which order. Orders are left sitting to get cold because the servers are again, standing around, going outside, or talking to one another, or their friends and family members that come in.
Once seated, I've had to ask a couple times for a menu. They don't keep up on refills, they are usually friendly and the food tastes good most of the time. They apologize for being out of items or for making you wait so long but don't make the changes for it to be different next time. It's a minimum of 1 1/2 - 2 hours to be seated, order, to be served, eat and get your check to pay and leave, if you can find someone to check you out.
There are a few good servers, Deb used to be one, but I havent seen her in a while. I wish I knew the others names and I would call them out.
I have had to tell servers what's on the menu when they say they dont have something or don't know what it is. They should know what's on their own menu. They don't ring up items correctly if you substitute something, and the prices are high when you can go to a nicer restaurant, pay the same price and get better service. The food is good when it's correct and hot but the service and wait time is the main reason I don't...
Read moreI won't go back. The entire staff stood just a few feet from our table and loudly argued about shifts, the manager, and fought with each other. Literally, all the staff, in the front of house complaining and argued loudly. The cook tried to dismiss the loudest and rudest of the waitresses (with a skunk stripe hair do) for her behavior. The waitress yelled, "No, I'm not leaving" over and over, and then pranced to my table to check on us, with a crazy smile on her face. Keep in mind that I'm waiting on pancakes while they decide to have a giant gripe session. Finally, I remind her that I'm still waiting on my food and pointed to my family's empty plates. (The rest of the table finished their plates). She brought 2 raw pancakes to the table. I didn't eat them. I think this entire store needs restaffed. And sidenote... i have never felt so bad for a bus boy. Those girls are just mean to that teenage. No matter what your job, you deserve to be spoken to like a person. How can you operate a business in this mannor? I understand why there were only 2 other...
Read moreMe and my fiance visited this Dennys yesterday (4/5/24), and I was outraged by what happened while we were there. First, we witnessed the cook picking up food (I think it was shredded cheese) with his bare hands and eating it over where he was cooking and preparing food. Then, when our food was served, my fiances chicken fried chicken was burnt on the outside and pink in the middle, there was also mold on his toast! My food was less than perfect as well. We instantly waived the waitress over (she was the only good thing about this place) and told and showed her everything. She seemed not so surprised about us seeing the cook doing what he did and apologized. She then called what I believe was the shift manager over, who also apologized, but tried to explain away the mold. This place used to be a good place to eat and I love Dennys but the past 2 times I've eaten at this location has been a terrible experience. This one is very bothersome, because I work in Healthcare and this really could make someone very ill. I'm very...
