My 80 year-old Mother was mistreated by a waitress and a manager at your establishment on Sunday, November 19th. I want the owners to know the details of the rude and unnecessary mistreatment that my Mother was subjected to on the above date. I personally have worked in customer service and restaurant service for years. I have NEVER heard of the appalling mistreatment of a paying customer in my years of experience. I want you to be aware that I am posting the details of my Mother's experience on my Facebook page and I will let all of my friends know what happened to my Mother at your business. My Mother went to your business Sunday afternoon with a friend after church. She ordered a slice of pizza with tomato and onion. When her slice of pizza arrived to the table, the onions were raw & the tomatoes were cold. The toppings were OBVIOUSLY not baked on the pizza slice! When my Mother address this FACT with the waitress that was SERVING her, the waitress stated that they don't heat up the toppings on the pizza. I have NEVER heard of a pizza with COLD toppings. The waitress offered to take it back to the kitchen. She returned to the table with a plain cheese pizza! Obviously NOT what my Mother had ordered. By this time, my Mother's friend had finished her meal. So my Mom asked for a box for the pizza slice that wasn't what she ordered. When she got the tab, she was charged for the raw onion and the cold tomato toppings that she DIDN'T eat! The manager told my Mom that those were the charges for the meal and that she must pay it. The manager also open the door for my Mom and her friend as they were leaving, she told them to have a blessed day & "TO NEVER COME BACK!" You don't have to worry about ANY of us to EVER step one toe into your restaurant EVER again!!!!! I will also STRONGLY SUGGEST to my friends that they NEVER go to your establishment either!!! UPDATE: The gentleman, Jeff, asked me to leave my contact information through the Johnny Brusco's email. I did promptly and no one ever...
Read moreMy husband and I went to JB last night Wich was Saturday 4-9-22. He ordered a salad, calzone and sweet tea. I ordered a salad, fettuccine Alfredo w/grilled chicken, salad and half & half tea w/extra ice. We got our drinks immediately, the waitress and the host was just as sweet as could be, no issue with our service at all... The issue was the food. The salads were great! Fresh produce, the dressings was really good and they was of great portion considering they was side salads. When it came to the main dishes however, it took about 45 mins for my husband's calzone to come out and an additional 17 mins for my Alfredo. He received has calzone and it looked great! It wasn't greasy, it was stuffed well with all the meat and veggies he had asked for. To look at it, it was perfectly cooked, but it had some doughy spots in it. He ate through it anyway and he said regardless it was still really good, I took a bite and I agreed with him that it was good. When my pasta came up tho, that was a different story. The sauce was extremely clumpy, the noodles was very over cooked with a gummy texture. The chicken was flavorless and tasted as tho it had been boiled and not grilled. The garlic toast was less than toasted, it was warmed at the most. I could have seen these issues had they been extremely busy, but we was seated rite away with no wait. There was a total of 4 tables on our side that had patrons and 2 more tables was set about 20 mins after we had already been seated and even their food was brought to them before ours by a good 20 mins and they also had pasta and salad... We have always liked JB. The food has ALWAYS been amazing! And I was looking so forward to my Alfredo, however it was a complete let down last night. We will be back eventually, but if we have the same issues again, then they will be crossed off the list of a favorite date...
Read moreI need to be fair, we've been driving since 6am we're hangry. We were craving pizza and decided to start looking for some in our area and ordered ahead. Jasper, AL was the closest place on our route.
We got to Johnny Brusco's, but the street parking was all parked up so we started looking around. Out of the 30 parking spots in Jasper, 25 of them are reserved for a lawfirm. 94% of this town might be a lawyer.
Anyway, after a half marathon, we made it inside. The hostess was very nice and guided us back to the back counter for our pickup order. The worker there was working with another customer, so we waited our turn just taking in the decor/atmosphere.
I heard some mumbling but I didn't think anything of it. I looked up and realized the worker was looking at me. So I'm assuming it was my turn. He mumbled a bit more then returned with our order, handed it off, then turned around without another word, or mumble.
The pizza was really good! We were very pleased. The salad had a lot of inedible bits, like the part of the lettuce that's yellow and brown and made of concrete. But enough ranch can fix anything.
We are from a small town, so we are just poking fun at Jasper, but it really is a nice town. Our food was good and if we are ever in this area again, we would certainly come back. Only real complaint was Mr. Mumbles, but this is meant to be...
