Sis Boom Burgers — Restaurant in Jay

We went there New Year’s Eve and when calling for reservations, the guy said it was pretty full but could fit us in at 5 or 915. He agreed to 845 and said he’d see us at 850. We arrived at 8 and there was one big table and then two other 2 person parties. We were able to be sat right away. Our server gave us her recommendations and explained the menu in detail. She was very friendly. However something with the fish dish under entrees did not agree with my stomach and I spent rest of New Years Eve in a less than stellar mode. We ate here for lunch. Our server, Dylan, provided outstanding service and conversation. Loved the Hole In One burger, cooked medium with fries, amazing, literally. Jenn had the Jay Burger, medium well, which was equally outstanding. I'm turning my phone over to our son to provide a ten year olds perspective. Hello people of the internet! The venue is beautiful, but our food was mediocre at best, and the service was among the worst I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant.

We were served and seated by Hillary at the front, and our waitress was Susan. We were astonished at how rude and unfriendly they were and the complete indifference they showed towards us. We had to advocate for ourselves to get basic service, and it felt like they were begrudgingly doing us a favour when we asked for anything.
