After a late lunch, we decided to pop in for a coffee and alcoholic beverage. I mean, you can't go wrong at a place that has really good coffee AND alcohol. The Lavendar Haze was a little too sweet for me.but the stepdaughter loved it. It was definitely good and very refreshing. Our lunch location didn't have Guiness stout, but the Red Wheel did, which made the hubs happy. I got an espresso AND an Espresso Martini. Both were delicious. The actual building is very small and has limited seating and room. Therefore, the coffee comes in nice paper cups. There is a wonderful outside seating area and would be amazing in the warmer weather. The barista was so nice and very efficient making our drinks. There were several people and more who came in, and he handled the rush gracefully They also offer batista classes, which I think would be super cool for a couples or girls only outing. Stop by and try them out!

Red Wheel Steamhouse is a gem in Jefferson City. I rolled in straight off the Katy Trail with no expectations, and it turned out to be exactly what I needed. They had everything: access to tools for my bike, great information about the surrounding area, and even details concerning a new pair of shoes I was looking for from another local shop. On top of that, the coffee and matcha lattes were fantastic—beautifully crafted and spot-hitting. What really set the experience apart, though, were the people. The staff were kind, knowledgeable, and an absolute joy to talk to. They turned what could’ve been just a pit stop into a highlight of my trip. If you’re riding through or just looking for a great local spot, Red Wheel Steamhouse is absolutely worth the visit.

Had an Americano and was very pleased. Coffee came out with a crema cap and could tell the beans were fresh and the barista knew what they were doing. Temperature was perfect and was able to drink the coffee shortly after pour Unlike most shops that make it extremely too hot! Place is well done and extremely clean. Very friendly with fast service! Smaller place in an old well updated historical brick building with a handful of seating in house and lots of seating on the patio for those nice days. Close walking proximity to capitol building and MO River. They offer a handful of pastries and breakfast grab and go items that looked delicious! They Had a handful of beers on tap also. Look forward to going back and trying more items.
