It's been years since i stepped into this building. The name has changed twice. My first choice of restaurant was closed on Wednesday. So, decided to try this play. It's bright, spacious, clean. I ordered two sunny side up eggs with medium bacon and I did stress this), and opted for pancakes instead of toast. I asked for regular coffee. (Spoilers!!). Well, it's refreshing to get an old fashion mug full of coffee. The eggs were done as expected. But my bacon was crisp not medium where I cold bend. Seems also reheated. Potatoes were diced, and although I didn't mind them, they were salty. And I only received one pancake, The usual serving is two. Just like toast. I finished my breakfast and did get a refill of coffee. When I walked to the counter to pay my bill, I noticed the coffee charge was $3.50. I mentioned that I asked for regular coffee. The cashier replied it was because the brand was Intellingista brand. So, my bill was $19.79. Now, I don't mind paying for something that's worth of more. But I think it missed the mark, Well, this will be my...
Read moreMy first time coming into this restaurant with my kids. And we all ordered the crepes with Nutella. And they got all of the orders wrong 😑 …. Mind you it was the same exact order. And when I explained to the server that we all ordered Nutella on the crepes he said that was Nutella but it was actually caramel. And yes I understand it’s not a big deal. But my kids will not eat that. They ordered Nutella for a reason. And when the server finally took the crepes back to ask the kitchen if that was Nutella or caramel he still came back to tell me oh yeah it’s not Nutella. Do you want them or not??? Then we waited another 15mins to get 2 of the 3 orders remade. Because as an adult I still kept my order that was wrong. And had the server just take the other 2 that my kids wanted. Very bad first impression. And I work as a general manager in another restaurant. The staff doesn’t even acknowledge...
Read moreI had barely a three star experience. I just started a job around the corner so I stopped in for lunch. I ordered a bloody mary from the bar and it was nice. I ordered a chicken ceasar salad and that's where it got strange. It was served on a flat plate with minimal amouts of greens. The chicken was cut for me, into squares and carefully spread throughout. Tiny side of dressing. I ate the salad in under four minutes. For $15 dollars I expected a full breast, maybe laid on top off the grill and served in a dinner bowl on a bed of lettuce for me to cut as I choose. The portion seemed like a side salad and I specifically ordered the full sized option - I cannot get over the cubed chicken. I'll give them another try, another time since the service was nice and the atmosphere...
