OUTSTANDING! HILARIOUS! Mobile Adventure Company was the perfect way to add laughter, zest, and fun to my husband's recent surprise birthday party. We hosted an intimate gathering at our home but needed something a little "extra" to entertain our guests and add a special spark to the celebration. Mobile Adventure Company completely hit the mark. We were fortunate enough to have Charles "Cheese" host our event and he was accompanied by his helpful assistant Phil. These two gentlemen set up a wonderful game show set in the corner of my outdoor patio with podiums, working buzzers and a large screen. They even brought a makeshift tent in case of rain to cover the area. They arrived promptly and set up quickly and were ready to go even before we asked. Cheese and Phil skillfully led us through Jeopardy and Family Feud-like games with wit and snark and the hour was spent laughing and shouting out answers as we competed for ridiculous prizes and the pride of besting our family and friends. Everyone was a winner!! I also want to thank Jason for working so cooperatively in the weeks leading up to the party to keep all the planning secret so my husband wouldn't find out. Jason went above and beyond to accommodate all my sneaky requests and made the planning almost as fun as the evening itself. Thank you Mobile Adventure Company for exceeding all my expectations for our party entertainment. You folks know how to assist your clients in creating the most enjoyable and memorable experience possible. You will absolutely be my first call the very next time I...
Read moreI did not know what to expect, never having been to this type of entertainment venue. But I am someone who enjoys riddles, puzzles, and other similar challenges, so I went in with an open mind. And I'm glad I did!
Once I stepped the Mobile Room Escape trailer, I was intrigued. I had done some reading about this type of thing, and being used to online escapes where everything rests on your ability to solve clues on your own, I was not sure how working with strangers and a few acquaintances would end. An hour is either a long time or a very, very short, especially when the clock is running.
I promised I would not give anything away, but I will say that you need to pay very close attention to the clues! I looked at somethings one way, and were it not for my team, I would have missed the actual clue altogether. I will say that there were some things that I was able to solve when no one else could. In short, you need to work as a team to "escape!"
I had an absolute ball, and would encourage even the biggest skeptic to give this a try. You will not be disappointed! I am already telling everyone I know that this would be great for a birthday party, a block party, carnival, school function, etc. And, if you were looking for the perfect team building event, this is it! I am talking to the folks at work about this, and I hope to get something together in the near future!
A lot of fun for just about any age. Don't wait for someone to suggest this....plan your own Mobile Room Escape adventure! Your friends will think...
Read moreWe were in Chicago the weekend of December 8-10. We wandered around and came across the Mobile Adventure Company's Axe Throwing setup at Navy Pier. We decided to give axe throwing a try (my sister had never tried it before). There were no signs saying there was a fee to play (I know we should have assumed there was a fee but since there was no pricing listed, we got in line. There were other signs telling us what not to wear and to fill out the disclaimer). After waiting in line, we get to the front of the line where we were then told that we had to have tickets and could purchase tickets inside of Navy Pier. The person running the event was rude, said there wasn't a need for signs about tickets (afterward, we saw multiple families be turned away because they didn't have tickets either). I wouldn't be leaving this review if it weren't for the attitude of the employee. In all honesty, the pricing for the axe throwing wasn't bad. It was being treated the way we were and the disdain for people wanting to play and not knowing there was a need for tickets. Because of this, I can't...
