Bryn Mawr Breakfast Club has been a staple in the neighborhood, offering a dependable brunch and lunch experience that keeps regulars like myself coming back for years. The ambiance is charming and warm, with a rustic yet eclectic decor that evokes a cozy, homey feeling. The collection of knick-knacks and vintage-inspired decor provides an inviting space that complements the food nicely. The quality of the food here is consistently good, which is one of the main reasons why I continue to return. Dishes like the breakfast burrito and smoked salmon are always well-prepared, fresh, and flavorful. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty meal or something lighter, their menu provides a solid range of options. The ingredients feel thoughtfully selected, and there's a level of care that goes into every plate, from the presentation to the portion sizes. However, despite the consistent quality, the menu can start to feel a bit repetitive. While the staples are undoubtedly great, I find myself wishing for more variety over time. It would be fantastic to see new seasonal items or rotating specials that push the boundaries of what’s currently offered. A refreshed menu with a few creative twists could really elevate the dining experience for loyal patrons who have been frequenting the spot for years. One area where Bryn Mawr Breakfast Club could really enhance the experience is their drink menu. While the focus is understandably on the food, the selection of crafted cocktails is somewhat limited and not original . Expanding the variety of cocktails, and even experimenting with some brunch-specific craft drinks, would be a great way to draw in both new customers and offer something fresh for long-time diners. The service is always friendly and attentive. The staff are quick to accommodate requests, and the overall dining experience is pleasant and efficient. Even during busy brunch hours, the wait times are reasonable, and the flow of the service feels smooth. The care put into the customer experience is apparent and appreciated. Bryn Mawr Breakfast Club is undoubtedly one of my favorite go-to spots for brunch, thanks to its welcoming atmosphere and consistently high-quality food. However, after many years of loyal visits, I would love to see a little more creativity infused into the menu, both with the food offerings and the drink selection. New specials and a more robust cocktail menu could make this neighborhood gem feel as exciting as it did when I first discovered it. Until then, it remains a reliable choice for a comfortable and satisfying meal.

I've been holding back on reviewing this place for fear that I won't be able to get a table next time I go. Alas, they more than deserve an excellent review! There is, literally, nothing but amazing things to share about BMBC. My partner and I especially love going here for brunch after a brutal workout. It's exactly what you want for brunch. Everything on the menu is delicious and well thought out. Nothing on here was just thrown together. It delivers on expectations EVERY SINGLE TIME we go--and we go there A LOT. My absolute favorite thing about BMBC is that multiple items on their breakfast menu are vegan-izable. And they don't turn out like some sad vegan after thought. They're hearty and delicious and beautiful! Just replace the eggs with tofu scram, ask them to hold the cheese, and you're on your way to vegan brunch bliss. I highly recommend the veggie skillet with tofu scram--insider tip: add veggie breakfast sausage for a little boost of flavor, texture and protein. The coffee is bottomless and the non-coffee drink options plenty and delicious--including recently added cocktails. My partner raves about their sweet breakfast options as well. The staff is friendly, the service is fast, and the place is immaculately clean. Additionally, unlike the original on Bryn Mawr, this one has a mini grocer within the space that sells, among other things, Mexican specialty items! When we go to BMBC, we are never disappointed and always leave happy and satisfied. Thank you, BMBC, for existing! We love you!

Hungry?…. You won’t be when you leave! This very nicely RePurposed corner- Bodega y Taqueria > that’s now a soon-to-be Hip-ster Spot in a decidedly un-hipster corner of Chicago. What-a-genius👍🏼👍🏼, to have the vision to take on this project. The outdoor seating is nicely shaded. The staff seems quite-“tentative”, and I hear post-Pandemic Lockdown it’s really next to impossible to hire true Hospitality Veterans. That said-be patient. The kitchen is putting out some solid breakfast skillets! The craft cocktails go down smooth, and the 2 brunchers who requested SPICY Bloody Mary’s were very pleased with what they ordered. Look at these photos-if this was a scratch-n-sniff-iPhone….. you’d be lickin’ your iPhone right now. Great management keeps everything running smoothly. Be sure to try this new brunch spot in a Belmont-Cragin-Corner of Chicago you most likely have never been b4! Pro-driving-Tip😎: from the Lake ( or East) take Addison west to avoid crowded/narrow Belmont Ave. and go south on Kevdale to Belmont. 😎

I have been to the other location, but this was my first time at the newer Belmont location. Me and my family of 5 came early, around 9a on a Sunday morning, and had no problem getting a table right away. I ordered a bloody Mary, and was happy to receive no judgment from my server about knocking back a drink this early in the day, after all, it is the weekend. Bloody Mary was delicious with a little kick of spice. For $4 more I got a little Coronita on the side. Their kids menu is reasonable with items around $9. Both my little ones got the Oreo pancakes, and there was like a whole Oreo layer between the two pancakes. My husband got the biscuits with gravy, and said they were delicious. I stole a couple of bites, and agreed whole-heartedly. My oldest and I split two items on their brunch menu, the carnitas skillet and the crab cake benedict. The crab cake benedict was ok to me. With the spinach and hollandaise on top of the crab cake, the cake got pretty soggy fast, but the flavor of the crab cake itself was fantastic. That carnitas skillet though..... I would 100% order that again. The carnitas were tender and flavorful, and with the cheese, black beans, sour cream, and potatoes it was just perfect. I'm excited to have a location by my house, and extra excited that they weren't packed. We left at about 10a, and they started to get a bit more busy. The interior is rustic, but open and I really like the vibe. They take cash and card, and the staff is super welcoming and attentive. We found parking right in front on Belmont, so we didn't have to hunt, but when we left there were definitely...
