D'Fruta La Vida — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

This place was awesome! We wanted a snack before a concert we were going to and stumbled on this place. Everything sounded so good! We got smoothies that were delicious and ordered one of the plantain empanadas. The manager said that if we tried the beef one, we'd never want to eat anything else. We ordered one of those as well.

He came back a couple of minutes later and apologized, saying they were out of the plantain one, but that he put in two of the beef ones and would comp them because he knew if we tried them, we'd be back for more. That was very nice, and very unnecessary. But they were every bit as good as he said they would be!

All four of the employees we dealt with while we were there were super nice, and the food was excellent! We're from out of town so not sure how often we'll have an occasion to make it, but we'll definitely be back when we're in the area. Hello everybody, I would share whatever happened this morning around 10:30am, I got there to get a yogurt for me and my mom, because I wanted my mom trying those delicious yogurts thie ice cream shop prepares, but when I got there the lady who gives the service was cutting fruits in the back of the store and she seen us, but she didn’t care, she continued doing her shores without come out and said at least, ladies give a few minutes or something, and I was waiting like 5 minutes, even there’s wasn’t busy, because there was no body else waiting for service only us, so after these 5 minutes we decided to leave, and I’m pretty sure she heard the ring, because the ring I believe is loud enough for the employees to be aware, there is someone waiting for...

I’ve been coming here for the past year and I have to say my last visit on June 10 was terrible. I order three sandwiches 2 were ham, egg and cheese and one chicken and the lady that was in the back. I actually never seen her before she did a terrible job the sandwiches were bad was a tiny piece of egg and for the chicken sandwich forget it was like a tiny piece of chicken in there I am highly upset about this because never happened before with the other girls.i have always enjoyed my favorite milanesa sandwich and I am scared to go back and order another one. and last, but at least I ordered by phone.
