We were here for a ticketed school fundraiser in the upstairs party room. Upon arrival we loved the space. The layout of the room and the personal bar. Behind the bar was 2 women on the older side bartending. We were one of the first handful to arrive and went up to the first bartender she was blonde. There wasn’t a list of beverages or anything and I personally do not have great knowledge on drinks so I asked her what she recommended on the sweeter side and she told me that i should know what I wanted. I apologized and asked her to just make me whatever drink the other bartended was making. She said that I can have the other bartended do it and walked away. I told her I was sorry I didn’t have great knowledge on alcohol and joked it was because i started having children before I was of drinking age. She gave me a dirty look and told me I should know by now. Later on I was very uncomfortable I didn’t want to go back to the bar. My husband went up and asked the other bartender with darker hair what types of high noons they had since he couldn’t see the flavors. She told him to just go look at the cooler. When he said he couldn’t see it and just asked for a watermelon or any melon she told him to get it himself. Later on i found the event special drinks and asked the blonde bartender to make it and she said “oh no absolutely not I won’t make that. You can ask her to but nope I won’t” and walked away. We waited by the other bartender who would not address us. She proceeded to ask a woman who came next to me after awhile who said we were there first to help us first. She huffed and said what do you want. We asked for the drink off the special list and she seemed upset. She came back with the 2 drinks, one half full and one 1/4th full. She said “out of orange juice. You get what you get!” We have 4 children. We don’t go out much at all. We brought a lot of cash to tip well. We did still tip to. That was our very first all kids sleepover night out to ourselves. I was so disappointed it was tainted with...
Read moreGreat local joint where you can catch not only UFC fights, but just about any sport, especially Da' Bears!! It gets pretty crowded on the weekend where there is a hodgepodge of friendly locals who are just having a great time! They have some darts, pool, and a couple of video games. Good drink and food deals. The food is delicious! Great selection of appetizers, and menu for what seems more of a bar than a restaurant. Door staff is friendly and never seen any tomfoolery with fights among the guests. Have just a little patience with the bar and wait staff as they have a lot of people and personalities to deal with, but for the most part they excel at their craft. Overall, a great experience for family, friends, and strangers, (and there is nothing stranger than being a Bear fan and feeling that energy of the crowd cheering on our team together!) No photos to post but the ones you will see on the site...
Read moreGreat place for drinks, yummy food, and socializing. I go here a few times a year and always enjoy it. My favorite item on the menu is the fried macaroni and cheese bites that come with ranch dressing. They are just delicious. I also love the pizza, quesadillas, and tacos. Sometimes they have tacos on special for happy hour. They have lots of beers on tap and any drink you want. The bartenders are very nice and service is usually pretty fast. There is a small bowling alley and pool hall on the second floor, and a large party room in the back. I've been to a party held there, and there is enough room for a large gathering. Sometimes they have live music which is always nice, and trivia nights too.
P.S. If you thought this was a good review, could you please "like" it? That would help me get to the next Local Guide...
