We can’t wait to come back to A+ Italian Steakhouse. Friend and I wanted Italian and hubs wanted seafood. This restaurant is the perfect spot for it! It’s a quaint restaurant with high ceilings, chandeliers, a nice wooden bar, and spacious dining area with tables spread apart well. This was an elegant setting and can be perfect for a date night or fun dinner with friends. We enjoyed listening to Frank Sinatra being played throughout dinner! We sat in front of the speaker so depending on the song it was a little loud, but we appreciated the timeless music to go with the classiness of the restaurant.
We started with mussels in white sauce and a dozen baked clams. They were fresh and there was plenty for us to share. For dinner I ordered the gnocchi with 4 cheese and they were light and pillowy! Hubs ordered the Zuppa de Pesce and it was packed with fresh, well cooked seafood! He appreciated that the calamari contained all the parts and not just the rings. My friend’s lobster pasta was so delicious. The sauce was so tasty, the shrimp was cooked perfectly crunchy, the pasta was well filled with lobster. Dinner well exceeded our expectations!
We ordered desserts to go. The tres leches cake and tiramisu were rich and sweet. Hubs ordered the jumbo chocolate cake slice and they were not kidding about jumbo slice! We enjoyed it immensely along with our teenage sons!
We will certainly be back for dinner and I’m excited to try other items...
Read moreThis is the first time I have ever left a review, but I had to let people know our experience. I called ahead to see if there was a corking fee and I was told I could not bring my own wine. When we arrived, the wine list was extremely limited, and what they have was over priced. Our waiter (I believe his name was Tom) was extremely arrogant and slow, on a night that wasn't even busy. Tom stepped on my brothers foot twice, and didn't apologize once. We had to ask another waiter to have Tom to come to our table so we could order. After ordering, the food took 40 minutes to get to our table. I ordered the bone-in-ribeye which was taste wise average at best. It was extremely grizzley even for a ribeye. My wife ordered a med-rare fillet which was charred so much, all she could taste was burnt meat. We all agreed the mashed potatoes tasted like powdered potatoes. The asparagus was the best part of the meal, but we only got 5 slim stalks for $10. While I was still chewing and had half my steak left, Tom grabbed my plate assuming I was finished eating. I stopped him of course, but what was he thinking? Even after horrible service and subpar food, I still left 20% tip. Five minutes after I signed the $400 check, Tom snagged the check from the table. We were still talking at the table and finishing our drinks. Also, the place wasn't crowded or close to closing. I feel that to be quite...
Read moreCelebrated our anniversary here last night…what a beautiful venue. We started out with cocktails and appetizers…the drinks were delicious as well as the crab cakes…the onion rings however were not anything special. The entree’s we ordered were the pork chops and the chicken piccata with garlic mashed potatoes. So delicious and plentiful…so we have leftovers for lunch. For dessert we ordered the double chocolate cake. Now this would have been way better if it hadn’t come directly out of a refrigerator. I mentioned to our waiter it would have been better if it was room temperature and was nice and soft instead of cold and hard. Our waiter, Thomas was very attentive… what I appreciated was he did 💯 of the work. He took our order and brought us everything himself not several other runners like other restaurants have adopted these days. So when we were finalizing the bill and paying a gratuity…we were basing it on the service we received from our one waiter. The venue is small and intimate…very personable. You definitely need a reservation. We...
