Waited over 50 min for my order which was pollo en mole. The chicken was extremely dry the rice was undercooked and they use a short grain rice. I made a taco out of the sauce and chicken leg thinking it was a darker piece and would be juicer but that was a fail. I don't mind waiting for good quality food. But this just wasn't it.

If you are looking for authentic and good Mexican food, this is the spot. Amazing Lengua tacos, and the rice and beans are as authentic as you can get. I also ordered the empanadas to go, they tasted so good the next day after toasting in my air fryer.

La Oaxaqueña was excellent. The place is now known as La Viña and is not worth the price or time. The food is bland, greasy, and chewy. They screwed up one order causing additional wait. Two of the entrees (empanadas) made my family queasy almost immediately. I don’t see this place managing to stay open with such poor service and expensive lackluster food.
