Lizard's Liquid Lounge is the Chicago equivalent of a reallife Cheers. After meeting you, everybody knows your name and you're always welcome here. It's an Irish Pub that packs a lot of fun and entertainment into every night. There's Dart League Wednesdays , Karaoke Saturdays, A Seasonal Christmas Market which run today and tomorrow (December 11th). There are Fresh Baked Bread days you have to check the calendar for, ,and live bands of every type that you can imagine, usually on Fridays. There are drink specials and friendly bartenders waiting for you and your entourage to show up. Everyone is welcome (with proof of vaccination). This is one of the most welcoming establishment I've ever frequented. Even though I moved out of the neighborhood, it's still my bar of choice. Hi. So this place. It has a plethora of positives, as it so happens. Tis painted the colors of the old McDonald’s scheme. ( not to be confused with old McDonald who , you know, had a farm, and on said farm he had some cows, I believe ). It’s a study in yellow and red. We tend to stop by here for free live music and unique vibery. So my heart wants to point out , this place is really a 4.5 star establishment, due to beer complications. Again, I must return to the state of the beer. Somebody has to. I guess it shall be me.
