Mama Luna's — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

I’ve been a frequent customer for 10+ years, and unfortunately the service has completely gone out to window and this place does not care for their customers or to retain any customers. They are solely focused on making money. I live a couple of blocks away and a few months ago I went to pick up my pizza, I noticed on their menu screens they had different prices for the pizzas than I was being charged. I asked why that was, and the young guy, in a snarky attitude, said that those prices are outdated, and if I don’t want the pizza anymore he’d throw it away. I told him to calm down that I was just asking and that he didn’t have to be rude. Today, on superbowl Sunday, I called at 1pm to see if I could place a timed pick up order, expecting them to be busy. They told me they can’t do timed. So I called back at 2:45pm, to be told that they can’t do pick up and it’s delivery only. Mind you, I’ve ALWAYS picked up my pizza. Furthermore, the girl on the phone had insane attitude just for inquiring why pick up isn’t open. I’m not going to wait for delivery when I live 2 blocks away, to be charged extra, and get my pizza 2 hours later “because they’re busy” and my pizza comes cold (as I’ve had this happen before which is why I stopped being lazy and picking up)

As of today, mama lunas lost a long time customer and I will never recommend this place to my friends again. Luke’s, Pete’s or Suparossa are way better alternatives if you’re local and do not have the horrible attitude and ridiculous wait times this place does.

I RECOMMEND TO STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS. To say delivery only is GREED, and btw… update your menu in store. It’s a tv screen all you need to do is change it...

The only positive reviews you see here are the employees and friends of them Posting review's so the location looks good.Take it from a neighborhood resident. Im only 2- 3 minutes away from this place and there is Terrible customer service at the addison location. I wanted to order a pizza and they ask me if i could pay in cash. I told them i only have a card so they made me wait on the phone while they asked someone else if it was ok to take a delivery order with a card purchase.After a 10 minute wait they told me they can accept a card purchase. So i go ahead and place my order. More than an hour later the delivery person shows up with my order. I sign for my order and tip the delivery person. Only to find out my order is not complete. I call the number the delivery person called me from while he was still outside my residence and he ignored my call sending me to voicemail as he drove off and every phone call after that.I tried calling back the restaurant only to find out there closed. They charged me for items i did not receive. What a mistake ordering from this place was and tipping this delivery person.There are many other better places to order your meal from where they respect their customers. Skip this place and order from somewhere else even lumalnatis gets the order right , service is better and the price and pizza are better. At least you will get your...

Unfortunately, I didn't have a very good experience here. It's a shame, because the food is excellent. However, a restaurant is only as good as its staff. Initially I had a tremendous miscommunication with an employee on the phone as I placed my order. Then, after coming in person to pay for and pick up my pizza I was instructed to wait next door at the bar. The employee it advised me that she would personally bring the pizza to us when it was ready. My brother and I waited for well over 30 minutes. After a while, I asked the bartender, who already knew we were sitting there waiting for our food, If our food was ready. He said he would go check... and returned with our pizza. I told him that there was also a beef sandwich. Acting surprised, he returned to the other side and then brought us our beef sandwich. My brother and I have a custom of eating a slice of pizza on our way home. To our dismay, the pizza was already cold and solidified. Again, the food is delicious but something's wrong with the employees. I was left angered and upset after my experience and have no energy to call and complain. Don't let this experience deter you...
