I attempted to place an order for a sausage football pizza. I was asked if I wanted to pay with cash or credit card and I said very clearly cash. When I got off the phone I got an alert from my cardholder that the amount for the pizza had been removed from my card. I called back and spoke with the person who took my order and advised him that I specifically asked to pay in cash. He immediately placed me on hold without asking any questions. When he came back on the line he stated the transaction had been voided out. I told him I did not want it voided because it would take too long for the funds to return to my account and had he asked how I wanted the issue resolved he would've known that I was just calling back to bring the mishap to his attention. He immediately became defensive and put the store manager Ellie on the phone. She had a very rude disposition and told me in short that the transaction was voided, they would not be delivering anything to me and hung up on me. I called back to confirm her name and that she hung up on me and she said to me very plainly yes I'm Ellie and I hung up on you. These people are very rude, arrogant and bitter possibly about the fact that they have chosen to spend their adult lives working at a pizza joint but I definitely do not feel that is reason enough to penalize their customers. I ordered a pizza and chicken wings from Mama Luna's on Fullerton and when the order came I told the driver it was wrong and he said just call and they will give you the correct order. I called and told the person who answered that the order was wrong that I said no cheese only extra sause and I heard he told another person I had said no sauce and then I also said the chicken wings were supposed to have sauce on the side and the original person said I didn't say that and the supervisor said I couldn't have gotten both orders wrong and that I had said no sauce to one person and no cheese to another when I called this time, which was not true. I was not lying about what I ordered and if they couldn't understand me in both of these calls it is not my fault. They refused to send the right order and I asked if they recorded the call so they can hear that I did ask for it right and they would not say. I am disappointed at the accusation that I did not say the order as I wanted it, they took my order wrong and failed to make it right. Read moreI recently moved in the area with a family member & have always enjoyed Mama Luna's when I was visiting. I've been ordering pizza from here since last July & EVERY TIME they've gotten my order wrong & gave me 20% off the next order. I gave them multiple chances just because I've always had good pizza here but today has been the last straw. I called to order a pizza & inquired about my 20% off. The takeout person who answered the phone said the discount wasn't in the system anymore & only would be for 30 days. And the only way I could receive my discount is for a store manager to approve the discount the day of the error on Mama Luna's end, which was December 7th. A manager on duty could not apply the discount. I don't know what kind of POS System they are using where a manager on a shift cannot approve a discount but it needs to be changed. Why am I as a customer getting the short end of the stick for company policies that make no sense? Anyways this will be the last time I order from this establishment. I'd rather drive to Cicero & Get Al's Pizza where they get my order right all the time and have half off Monday's! Buh-Bye...
