McDonald's — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

$5 for a Mcflurry my daughter wanted and they only filled it up halfway! I asked the guy at the drive thru window if he could at least just fill it up with ice cream and refused. Spoke with the manager, Rose and she was the rudest person ever! She had the nerve to say, "you know this is McDonald's?, have you been here before? This is the way we do things here!" I asked for the owners name and number and she asked for my receipt, I never got one! She left and came back basically threw it at me and said here there you go and repeated , this is McDonalds! So floored at the treatment all because I questioned the cost of the product with what I received. This is the McDonalds on Addison right across the street from Lane Tech. I don't go to McDonald's, but my daughter wanted a Mcflurry. Last day of school so I thought, why not? I'm sorry you hate your job, not my fault! Try smiling a bit more and stop yelling at your customers when they question what THEY are paying for! Have you heard the customer is always right? You could have given her some plain ice cream on top and I would have given you 5 stars and a rave review for really going out...

what can I say about McDonald's that you don't already know. You know the food so I will talk about the location and customer experience and about my favorite breakfast item. It is close to the 90/94 expressway, in my book a big plus. There are 2 exits, one on Irving Park that heads East only and one on Elston that you can take to head West to the expressway. The drive thru is fast, accurate, at least I haven't had any issues. My favorite is the big breakfast (scramble eggs, sausage, hashbrown and 3 pancakes)for $6.89 in March 2022. That is a great price for on the go. You can spend that much on coffee alone at starbucks or dunkin donuts. The sausage burrito is not bad either for about $2. The regular coffee doesn’t have a lot of "perks" but it does the job for a quick cup of Joe on the go. Even though, McDonald's raise there prices, it is still the cheapest place, the most food you can get for the price, it isn't bad tasting either. It is always my place to go to when I want something quick, warm, and specially save some money. While your there don't forget the ice cream...I love there creamy vanilla ice cream and the price...

I'd like to know if the owner or managers know the practices these employees have. This isn't the only one but it is the craziest that this has happened.

I pulled into the drive thru and got to the pick up window. I was no there 5 seconds. There was nobody behind me. They were not busy. The attendant told me I needed to pull into the parking spot to wait. I understand you have timers for service. But telling people to move when they haven't even waited 30 seconds so you can trick the timer is insane.

If the owner gives them this much grief or doesn't pay them for this then they need to not work in fast food or not own a business. And if this is something the employees are doing just because they don't want to have to get people food on time then that needs to quit. But when I told them I wouldn't move suddenly my food was given to me in less than another 30 seconds.

So the food was already ready but they were going to make me go park and wait for them to bring it out....
