The staff is pretty nice. They kind of bug you and try to upsell you a bunch of things but that's their job. The selection of games is pretty good for a store this size.
I'm giving this store 2 stars because I have purchased multiple refurbished consoles from this store and all of them were broken. I fix computers and other electronics....so luckily I was able to fix everything. It's super annoying when you are trying to simply enjoy playing some games.
I felt compelled to write this review because of my experience attempting to play Resident Evil 2. I waited 4 YEARS for this game to come out. I purchased my PS4 when I had some extra money specifically to play this game. I went home to pop the disk in and the PS4 did not accept the disk.
Whoever was responsible for refurbishing this console forgot to plug in a very important cable on the inside of the console. I finally was able to play my game after a bit of tinkering with the broken console. The PS4 fan was extremely loud. So this time I completely disassembled the console to clean it.
The interior of the console was absolutely filthy (thats why the fan was so loud). I was under the impression that I had paid for a "refurbished" console. No a beat up, dirty and partially broken one. Very disappointing. By the time I opened the console the return window had passe...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe exchanged the controller for a new one, the old one was valued at $ 15. After about 3.5 - 4 hours, we returned to exchange it for a different color, since when we bought it we asked for white, but in fact it turned out to be pearl š¤·š»āāļø. Upon arrival, the manager Chris began to claim that the opened package cannot be exchanged, I suppose he meant the removed transparent round sticker. (It should be noted: when buying, the controller was hanging behind the seller and it was not possible to see the color scheme, and we left with the receipt attached to the package). We explained to him that we did not connect it, much less play on the controller. In addition, we expressed the opinion that their rules are not objective for the client. A vague answer from his side, then he began to show a paper on which there are supposedly return or exchange rules. And for a return, they offer $ 25 for a controller you just bought. š, I say that on the official Sony website I once had a problem-free return experience; and that it is necessary to simply change to another color. He continued to assert the rules (possibly supernatural). In the end I asked him to return my old controller and take 15 dollars, the answer was received that the old controller was sent somewhere and there is no return from there, and pointed...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI donāt think Iāve ever left a bad review, but man⦠my PS5 stopped working so I brought it in to use the warranty. I take good care of my stuff, brought it in with the original box, all packaged up pristine.
Guy did not want to be there. Haphazardly unboxed it, stuff dropping all over the floor, large lack of communication about what was going on, he pointed out I could only trade it in for a used one not a new one (warranty says it can be new but itās their discretion, so whatever, I just want one that works.)
He grabs a random GameStop box, tosses everything in loose and tapes it up; I couldnāt get my box back Iād brought in with the manual/packaging/etc in it, (called the next day to deal with someone much nicer who informed me sadly the box was already broken down and trashed.)
Get home to also discover random off-brand wires and an unoriginal stand screw.
All dude had to do was swap my console out with the other one and I wouldāve even boxed everything back up. But now while I do have a working console, like every other component is non-Sony. Just felt awful being treated so carelessly and rudely, after I gave nothing but positive energy.
Without original packaging, resale value for me...
