Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

I will say the food at this location is no different than the others- if you need chicken, fast, then this is an option. However, I strongly advise against visiting this location due to the lack of professionalism and respect exhibited by the employees on duty at around 8:45pm on March 27, 2019.

After cordially taking my order, the cashier, wearing a grey polo and seemingly the one in charge at this point in the evening, walked back to the line to assemble my meal. Everything was quiet for a moment but then I heard, “All in favor of leaving early? Say aye!” With a muddled response from the staff, as not everyone subscribed to these antics whilst a customer was present, the general feeling was that this grey polo’ed Samaritan was going to shut down the restaurant early. As my order continued to be prepared, more lewd language from Mr. Grey as he said “f* this” and “f* that”. It seemed like normal chit chat with his buddies, who resounded in similar diction, but again, all while a customer was standing approximately 5 feet away from them.

So, general manager, owner, or whomever might be graced with these words- your store was shut down early and some of your employees need a lesson in tact. I will say, it wasn’t all of them, but it was enough to make this experience terrible and I will not find my way back to this location. Thanks...

This Popeyes location is particularly terrible compared to the other horrible ones that I’ve been to it’s probably the worst. I’m going to start off with the fact that they always have the bathroom is out of service sign up even though we all know the bathroom is not out of service, it wasn’t an issue because clearly they have the right to say their bathroom is out of service but I’ve been going to this location since I was a teenager and the bathroom has always been out of service come on now. Secondly the people that work there are always very very very very pressed and rude. When you come up to order they don’t even say hi the guy standing there simply says “you ready” and when you walk out to place your order he has a stank attitude the whole time and is rushing you through your orders not asking any good questions or trying to make your experience any greater you can tell that he hates his job and that’s fine but he chose to work there so he should also choose to be a good customer service representative. At this point I don’t even like going to Popeyes and ordering food from there because I know the people that work there are rude and I probably will stop giving them my money because...

I used to eat at this location an average of 4-5 days per week about 10 yrs ago. I decided to go back to this location for a late lunch today. Once I started to eat I remembered why I stopped eating at this location. The food is properly cooked, but they let too much cooked food, especially the French fries, under the heat lamps for way way too long. The fries were terrible, and you could tell they had been sitting for too long considering they were tepid at best. Back when I used to eat here all the time, I always had the employees cook me fresh chicken/shrimp & fries when I'd order because otherwise it was a gamble whether you're getting hot food or not. The food definitely tastes, but I'd strongly suggest anyone who eats here to respectfully, but strongly, ask the person taking your order to cook the chicken/shrimp and or French fries, even if they tell you it was just cooked.
