The sky deck was really cool. Get there early and expect a wait to get through security and then again to get to the elevators and yet again to actually get your 60 - 90 seconds of time in the clear window box.
If the weather is good, you'll see a few states and lots of roof tops. 1500+ feet straight up can be intimidating but really cool to see the views. There are pay to use telescopes.
If the weather is foggy, you won't see much. And you can feel the building move with the wind. It's not bad. It's beautiful and worth the trip. If you have little ones I would suggest giving them gum to chew on the elevator rides up and down. Their ears will pop. 103 floors in 60-90 seconds.

Read moreThis mall is really hanging on by threads. It's sad as I love having a mall near by. It just seems as though they are satisfying spaces to collect rent to stay afloat, however the stores are of little interest. I do understand now days you have to do what you can to ride the storm. The bigger chain stores the few they have are the ones that may drive some traffic to the mall. Last visit there was boring a real fast in and out. Some stores have vacated since the Pandemic and really they couldn't afford to lose any stores as the mall never was outstanding. My hope was that they would grow bigger and better.
