Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

I would give 0 stars if I could. This is the second time I’m writing a review for the same ongoing issue. I bought my regular to smoothies again and by no surprise the worker went ahead and tipped themselves mind you not even giving me the option, but this time I saw them click it before I paid. I was optimistic that they might have cleared it, only to find on my receipt that they went ahead and tipped themselves. When I reached out I was told it could be a “mistake” which I would understand, but for it to happen every time with various employees and for it to happen to other customers. This is ridiculous and is theft at this point. I will not be coming again and I don’t know who needs to hear this but unless you want your money stolen from you don’t come here. I love tropical smoothie cafe in general, however this location on Devon with a drive through is the worst one I've been to. Ive been to several tropical smoothie cafes but this location in particular actually sucks. The ingredients are not fresh. I could tell that my kale apple salad had been sitting in dressing practically all day because it was room temp and soggy! The lettuce in my buffalo chicken wrap was also soggy and there was barely any chicken in it. My tomatoes were dreched in buffalo sauce to the point where my wrap was falling apart because the bread was drenched. I'm very disappointed because I usually love tropical smoothie cafe but this place did it absolutely no justice. Definitely not worth the money...

I am extremely unsatisfied. This is the second time workers from this location have tipped themselves without me clicking on it. The worker had told me the price ($16.52) and normally they show you the pin pad after paying, but both times they took it away before I could even see the tip screen and I’ve seen the workers click on the screen and walk off to make my smoothie. Right before I leave I ask for my receipt and when I check it I noticed that I was charged $19. I just think that it’s ridiculous that this has happened multiple times and to other people. Don’t come here unless you want...
