Tel-Aviv ya chabibi Tel-Aviv !
Here's my two cents about this place. First glance walking in it looks like a 90's sitcom pizza shop. Now I'm not saying that it's a bad thing, but for people like me with more modern tastes, it can be hard to feel comfortable in.
Now first time experience: I ordered pizza 45 minutes ahead for pickup. And when I got there the ticket was misplaced or something? Keep in mind that every person's experience may be different, but at that moment you can Imagine that I wasn't happy having to wait another 25 min for pizza while people were waiting for me.
Payment terminal: An ancient dinosaur, that's what it was with a side credit card machine. I mean please, how can you still be in business these days and not be up to date on tech? Probably one of the reasons they lost my ticket--- human error. Its time to get with the times and be up to date like everyone else.
Food:
Finally the food. I have to say it's not every day that I get impressed by food. I mean pizza most of the time is average, but in this case the pizza was pretty good, and that's a huge compliment from me.
Yet there are items that you should stay far away from like the French onion soup. I have been to many places and had been disappointed with the soup, but never so much as this. The soup was salty and sour. Let me tell you what a professional French onion soup is like. French onion soup has the mild consistency of spices like garlic, salt, and of course the cheese with bread/baguette. The real trick is the sweetness of the French onion. It is very important not to put too much or too little or it will instantly ruin the soup and is best served with mild sweetness.
Here we are at the end....
There are probably lots more items worth eating there so don't let my review discourage you from taking the leap and trying something new!

Read moreExcellent pizza, warm atmosphere. Years back, my mom came one day and ordered a slice. When it was ready, and mom was about to pay, she could not find any money with her, as she is elderly and was stressed and tired, as my dad was sick and in the nursing home across the street. She apologized that she could not pay and did not take her slice. The man at the counter insisted she take the slice he prepared for her. He said, take it, please, no worries if no money. Mom hesitated but took the slice with the condition that she will come right back and pay. Warm pizza was so comforting that mom relaxed a little and then remembered that she put the money in the purse and not in the pockets, and found cash she prepared. She was so happy that she was able to pay, but the man at the counter didn't want to take money from her. She insisted and finally payed for her slice. She still remembers the kindness of the man at the counter and a...
Read moreIt went from an old school dinky but cool and artsy place with the greatest tastiest tuna on toast imaginable , today they are in this ultra bright McDonald’s type setting as the greatest tuna sandwich is removed , which is what they just don’t get , if it works don’t change . On the positive side , the vegetable soup is as good as always however they removed the crackers that went with it with some disgusting fried crouton concoction , those crackers were part of the experience. One great thing that was actually impressive and improved is the pizza which is the definition of excellence. Perfect crust , delicious sauce and not to cheesy as the cheese which actually was not oily at all and tasty that you could only wish a slice of pizza like this...
