We ordered the Chicago dog, cheese dog, and mozzarella sticks. The Chicago dog was mushed and the bun fell apart as soon as I opened the wrapping, dropping the contents everywhere. As I sat reconstructing my hot dog my wife opened her cheese dog with fries and found both the inside and outside of the dog as well as her fries covered in the cheese sauce. So as she sat making trying to make sense of the mess of a meal she was given I found a single long hair, about 5 inches long in my hotdog, sitting there purposefully as though it was a condiment itself. Now I’ll admit I still ate the hot dog while trying to keep the hair out of my mind, and it was tasty hot dog. Their home made mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce are also definitely worth trying. Regardless it’s difficult to get the hair out of my mind, and that along with the absolute mess we got out food in really brings the score down for this place. I take no pleasure in leaving such a low review, especially for a place with genuinely good food, but until these problems are addressed and steps are taken to ensure this won’t happen again I cannot in good conscience leave a...

The hot dogs here in Snappy Dog is so highly recommend! It was so good the first time I tried it. The taste of it is amazing, their hot dogs are quality, worth the price, and very delicious. They also have fries on the menu and you can add it to your hot dogs as a side. It is so crispy, flavorful, and so worth it. I also recommend to order some of their mozzarella sticks when you visit. It is one of their best seller and it tastes really amazing. Their service here is so quick and fast. All of their staff are working so fast, they really love doing their job, and they all know how to manage all of their customers. All of them are friendly, accommodating, and attentive. They really greet all of their customers while entering the place. Outstanding customer service. This place is truly a hidden gem here in Edison Park. You all must visit this place if you are here in this city. This Snappy Dog is really delicious. I would love to go back again soon when I am nearby. Really want to order the same food again. The place advertises they are open until 230am on Sunday nights. I came in at about 145am. 7 or 8 drunk college kids all crowding the inside (and outside on the sidewalk) and being super loud. And the inside is probably only big enough for about 4 people, max. Anyway, old guy behind the counter seemed super annoyed and could barely muster up the strength to take my order. Even yelled out loud to himself "god damn" when 2 more kids came in after I did. I felt kinda bad for the guy since he was there by himself, but hey, you're open until 230am, so...
