The Nest Bar & Eatery — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

I had my baby shower there and in order for us to have the timeslot, we wanted the owner had told we needed to rent out both Slot times So we basically had to Rent it the whole day, which was fine with us as long as we knew we were getting the timeslot we wanted. During my baby shower, another group of people came in with a DJ set balloons and signs for a birthday party The bartender told my mom that there is a surprise birthday party going on at 930 And we had Had to leave The owner never mentioned that once to My mom, not even once communicated that with her that we had to leave At a certain time because he had booked another event after we had rented it basically the whole day. He refused to look at my mother in the eyes when speaking to her he was hiding behind the bar the whole time Just standing behind the bar drinking water or whatever it was, he was drinking when asked about what was going on. He looked confused and didn’t even speak, but just sat there and smiled. Very unprofessional, I had to kick my out guest out early Then expected because he booked another event after we had the whole day basically. It was very stressful very unprofessional, rude Never again will I book here again or recommend...

Went here for an early dinner over a weekend. The experience wasn't all that great. There wasn't to many people in the bar area, and no one in the dinner area besides.

The service was ok, we didn't get check on all that often which was very annoying because we were missing forks and water/soda refills. We had to constantly ask for these and many times they forgot.

The appetizers and food was OK, it was typical bar food nothing special. The absolute worst part was how they brought out our food. It was as if the chefs only new how to make 2 plates at a time. First they brought out dinner salads that were ordered, 10 mins after that they started bringing out sandwiches and wraps, and another 10 mins after that they brought out the childrens order (which was mac and cheese nothing fancy).

That really killed the experience in my opinion. As we started to wrap things up, is when we started getting the refills we asked for over 30 mins prior and they still forgot some of them.

I would never do another dinner here. The only way I would go back is to sit at the bar, and honestly it wouldn't be...

Today 11/30 I had a horrible experience at this restaurant. It is my friend’s baby shower and they rented that place out till a certain time and the manager ended kicking us out due to a “surprise party” happening at 9:30 BUT THEY PLACE WAS RENTED FOR US THE GUEST THE WHOLE DAY. WE WERE SUPPOSED TO ATTEND A BABY SHOWER FROM 4 PM TO CLOSE. The manager was acting very unprofessional and I felt like he was not taking his job serious because he was just watching from behind the bar, sipping on a drink (light guy, around 6’0, blonde hair) and not doing anything to find a solution. The manager should’ve communicated with the other party better and should’ve rescheduled but no he literally kicked us out. I as a guest DID NOT feel comfortable & I will NEVER ever come back or recommend this place to anyone. As well I as a person that works in a position of management think that this situation was handled very unprofessionally, COMMUNICATION IS KEY. DO BETTER! HIRE BETTER! We are the next generation don’t let people with this type of behavior take over an important position & not know how...
