Mr Beef & Pizza — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

First off let me begin by saying that I know I am partially at fault, but the service could have been better. I ordered through an app for pick up, but I ordered to the wrong location, by the time I realized what I had done, I called and told them I’d be late and asked if there was any way they can keep my food hot because I was a ways away. Again, I accept that I made a mistake, but the person on the phone seemed to understand and assured me that they’d keep my food hot and that they’d even make me a fresh batch of fries and mozzarella sticks. At that point I was relieved and no longer upset at the mistake I had made. I get there and not only did they reheat the same fries, you can definitely tell that they were just put back in the oil because they tasted old and some were extra crunchy and extremely salty (unless they just have bad fries) the mozzarella sticks were cold not to mention the rest of the food. Again, I admit I messed up, but why assure me you’d do something and not do it after I told you I was a ways away. It’s like they didn’t even try. Ever since the business is sold a few years back this place is a complete scam … be careful when placing an order with a credit card and if paying with cash make sure u get the receipt.. they have been overcharging me 5 dollars but today they overcharged 10 and got popped off. The female answering the phone name LANDRA and the delivery guy name Brian will cheat/rip you off if you’ve not careful(they work together). I feel bad for the new owner whoever he is… he’s being robbed blind. I have no doubt that this business is making way less n less as time go by, my neighbor also told me they put extra tip on credit cards when she tipped cash her grandson was doing her finances and caught it. There was a bit of a drop in the quality of the italian beef when the new owners took over. I'm not sure what they did, or if they switched up the recipe. But I could tell the difference. The pizza however has always stayed the same in my opinion. And that went on for a few months. And I was almost ready to give up on the place for good. However I kept going and I noticed that the quality of beef went back up again. They seem to have got it right. Still doesn't taste quite as good as it used to. But it is still pretty good. I remain a loyal customer and I really have no complaints. It's not the best beef in the city. But it's still very good. Johnny's may be better.
