Wendy's — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

First off, let me just say this building is absolutely gorgeous; it is definitely a fresh atmosphere. The crew in the morning/afternoon hours are friendly and show good customer service (for the most part.)

The reason for my two-star review boils down to the piss poor attitudes of the night crew, including the manager! Believe me, I understand no one wants to work the night shift, but talking about the customer under your breath, in front of the very customer is unprofessional regardless.

Here was the situation. I headed home from the Auto Show at 10 pm. Since I did not want to pay $10+ for food at the Auto Show, I decided to get a bite on the way home. I arrived at this Wendy's at approximately 10:45 and saw that there were customers still inside, so I decided to head inside. Considering the door was still open I figured the inside was still open. I waited by the register for service but instead was greeted with attitude. I don't think it's possible for the manager to have said any louder "Who let these foos in!?" (Yes, grammatical errors and all.) The manager then proceeded to tell my father and I, "Sorry but you guys can't be in here, we closed!" The manager, or any of the staff, could have said nicely that the dining area was closed and that the current customers inside were the last. There was a lot more to the story but I will keep it short.This experience was totally uncalled for because it is not my fault that they are not competent enough to lock the doors and assume responsibility.

I would rather have a dry or unseasoned sandwich than to deal with horrid customer service. I definitely will not be going to this Wendy's...

BEWARE of their kiosk machines or you will be ROBBED of MONEY !!! I’m waiting in line at the counter . The manager (she tells me she’s the manager later) asks me if I’m paying card or cash. I tell her card, she tells me to go to the kiosk after waiting in line.(she could’ve told me right away, but instead she had me waiting carrying a newborn baby) So I go place my order, put in my debit card and the machine say “Error or something like that and it says this machine only accepts credit cards!” So I go back to the counter and patiently and politely say “excuse me” every single incompetent employee looks at me then looks away. The same lady finally decides to come by the counter after many attempts and says she’s the manager. I explained what the machine read and she tells me to go to the drive through.( I’m with kids and a newborn and she’s giving me the run around instead of placing my order) I also had cash to pay and if she can place my order . She gives no explanation , let alone an apology. Tells me again to go place my order in drive through! I tell her if her machines weren’t working, she could’ve told me from the get go. She was rude, unprofessional, and not helpful at all! She tells me it’s not her fault my card isn’t working. I tell her my card works the machine says it only accepts credit cards ! I decided to leave and go to McDonald’s instead and when I get home I checked my bank account and Wendy’s did charge me $40 for the order that I never received !!! I will be...

So many things wrong with this location, I don't know where to start. I ordered a Dave's double meal and a crispy chicken sandwich and the patties on the double where just above paper thin... they were also burnt... so they looked like sheets of charcoal. I didn't see any lettuce until I pulled the bun back and saw the smallest piece of lettuce I'd ever seen (if the lettuce isn't visible when the sandwich is put together... that's a problem). I'm positive I wasn't given a full slice of cheese because all the cheese was in very center of the patties... didn't even make it to the edge. I received a half slice of a tomato and one slice of onion. The chicken sandwich just had mayo and cheese... which I didn't ask for. And to top it all off, they didn't secure the lid on my drink and it spilled all over me.

The service... or lack there of. Everyone in that place moves like they don't have customers! Air Pods are in and they are just walking around or on their phones. Don't bother going to place an order at the counter... you'll be waiting a long time.

The atmosphere... If you make your way over to the drink machine... which is always out of order or out of 90% of the drinks in it... Imagine the worst smell you've ever smelled... I don't know if it's coming from their bathroom or the closet where they keep the mops and brooms. Either way it was alarming. I don't know how this place is...
