China King — Restaurant in Jeffersontown

Ok, it made me give it a star... My place of business is very close... We all used to eat there but for many reasons we have stopped. Our employees reasons: Employee #1 .. Saw food truck deliver veggies.. no food inside truck was covered inside truck was extremely dirty... then while transporting them inside he dropped all on concrete ground.. Picked all up placed back in box look at our employee like nothing even happened.

Employee #2 .. Saw 3 flat pans sittin inside door with door wide open with chicken laid out exposed to heat and bugs.. (we have a video)

Employee #3... Witness one of their employees digging up some kind of grass with a spoon by the dumpster (numerous occasions) (we have that video as well)

All of us... witness hand washing aprons and hanging them on their cars, from the nearest tress, and...

This place is horrible. I placed an online order then drove to the store and called from the parking lot to ask whether they wanted me to come in or they would bring my order out (since the lobby was empty and COVID). I watched the guy come from the back to the counter where I assume the phone is, not answer it, and go back. This was 30min before they close. When I got home with my Black Pepper Chicken, something was tough to chew on and I found it was a giant (inches long) piece of thick paper or cardboard mixed in with the food. And they're idea of black pepper chicken is to simply add a lot of black pepper to a normal brown sauce. That is not how you make black pepper chicken. If you don't know how to make it, ask another Chinese restaurant. Fortunately, I am only passing through and won't ever need to see this...

The chicken was pink in the middle . I had it re done and they all picked at it and spoke about how basically I’m wrong but I know uncooked chicken when I see it . They def either switched the chicken they used to use or just didn’t cook it all the way. The second time they re cooked it they were cleaning up and rushed just to close . I’m glad they did at least try to satisfy the customer the second time around but it just was not good .ingot the general tsos chicken. Ended up feeding it to my pits . Wasted 14...
