McAlister's Deli — Restaurant in Jeffersontown

Today was my fifth visit to this location and our first visit we were so excited! Excited that we finally found a McAlister’s that was doing everything the right way, Today was a totally different story. I place an order to go with the young lady at the register, I order to seperate meals. First a craft full sandwich on a baguette with Turkey, spring mix and tomato only with a cup of potato soup and a glass of half & half tea. The second meal was the Italian sandwich with no olives or balsamic vinegar, a cup of potato soup and half & half tea, plus two Brookie bars. Upon arriving at home and removing both sandwich’s from the bag, my wife noticed that both sandwich rappers were totally wet. The first sandwich, the Turkey on baguette, the bottom half of the baguette was totally mushy and the Turkey, lettuce and tomato weren’t any better! It wasn’t worth trying to eat! A total disappointment! The second sandwich, the Italian that was not to have any olives or balsamic vinegar was loaded with both. The bread was the same as the Turkey sandwich, totally saturated and mushy, the lettuce, the meat and peppers were the same to the point of not eating! We don’t know what has happened to this location? The staff in the kitchen, the lack of training or the lack of customer care and the product! It was totally unacceptable for the money! Disappointment is being kind, not sure what it would take to revisit this location again! We have been bragging on this location to our friends, but can’t say that will happen in...

I just left this place Have no idea what's happening as it use to be so clean and friendly. The 2 girls working the counter just did not care about working today. The girl in the braids was the most unfriendly person I've ever encountered. She never asked can I help you or said anything...just stood there with a blank look on her face Every table was filthy. The floors were disgusting. No one came out to clean during the 40 minutes I set quietly eating my salad. Then they all began conversations over Snapchat and screenshots I will not return to this store Management needs to step it up and get back to the way it use to be Clean and friendly

UPDATE I came back with high hopes and they did not disappoint The usual manager was back on duty and he does a superior job Staff was friendly and helpful Tables and floors were clean today Thank you all for restoring my faith in this location

I'm just not going on the weekends any longer . The usual manage obviously is off on Saturday Went yesterday and it was back to dirty tables and unacceptable food. People working gathered in the corny as customers were filling the lobby. Food hsd no taste. Soup was like water and cold. Sandwich had none of the usual dressings or toppings.

I was back there yesterday It was clean and well organized as the man who appeared to be the manager was back in charge He keeps things together Otherwise you are stuck with a group of chatty phone gazers in the corner I appreciate...

Never again. First, our food took way too long to arrive at our table. The next 3-5 people in line behind us all received their food before we did. Little did we know it was because it was just sitting in the kitchen. My pick two Mephistopheles sandwich came out with the cheese melted, but was cold. The bottom of the bun was so hard I could have used it as a brick while the top was light and fluffy and completely untoasted or warm. The lack of mustard on my sandwich didn’t help matters. As for my Spud max, the cheese was melted but the same held true as the sandwich. Sticking my finger in the middle proved that the temperature of the potato was just at room temperature. My plate also (finally) arrived lacking butter and sour cream. When you have to make three separate requests for your order just to be correct, it’s worth the extra 5-10 minutes to drive to the Breckinridge location.

I could have requested my potato and sandwich to be reheated but after having to request both the mustard and sour cream I didn’t want to seem like the problem child and give my food back. I resorted to eating my food while it was just-below-warm, all while typing this message. Not a single person has stopped by to check on us (a normal for the brand) and several employees have passed by us (rearranging chairs and such). Not impressed by any means
