Donāt expect the owners to fix mistakes they made over charging (even with proof). They will instead accuse you of not wanting to pay taxes . I bought a chicken quesadilla that is $ 10 according to the menu (which I was charged $10.50) a burrito according to menu is $10 ( I was charged $ 10.50) two tacos @ $3.50 each an esquite @ $3.50 and two cans of coke sodas @ a $1.00 each. I was charged a total of $41.50 for my order I understand the taxes of course no problem with that , but when Iām being charged over $6.00 in taxes something isnāt right. The total came up to $33.50 tell me why we were charged $41.50 even with taxes it shouldnāt be that much. When I called to ask why I was over charged the lady (owner) got defensive and accused me of not wanting to pay taxes and that she pays a lot of money for her business to the IRS and yelled at me and said ( only my own people do this to me ) very rude and unprofessional excuses maāam Iām not one of your peoples sorry! They have poor customer service in my book if you canāt even handle a simple mistake by apologizing and correcting it the next time. Wonāt go again after being treated...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe food is very good and I've always enjoyed it but I'm disappointed that the prices have skyrocketed in recent months. I used to go once or twice a week and then I began going two or three times a month and it seems that every month or two the price of a burrito goes up another dollar. What started off as $9 is now $11 and I know that we have inflation but honestly don't believe that the price of everything is up 22%. This is not a restaurant and there are not a dozen employees. This is a trailer in a parking lot with no tables and no waitresses and no Fountain drinks and no silverware that needs to be cleaned or dishes that need to be washed. I am sensitive to the needs of every business to survive but, to be honest with you, it's just not worth it anymore. It's too much money for lunch. It's a burrito and it's gone from $9 to $11 or $9.50 to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis taco stand is like a food truck, except it's a trailer that stays at the edge of the liquor store parking lot across from Thornton's gas station on Court Ave in Jeffersonville. The food was delicious! I recommend the elotes (Mexican street corn), and the pollo (chicken) tacos and carnitas (pork) tacos. The food came garnished with radish slices and limes plus some hot sauces on the side (not my thing). Service was quick and friendly, and they didn't seem to mind that it was nearly freezing outside! The menu was scrawled on a poster board in the window with a sharpie... so the look might be a turn-off for some... But the food was great, open past 11p and I can't wait to go back and try the burritos and other tacos. Tell...
