Very rare do I ever step inside one this places anymore. And today was a reminder why I don’t and why I will less and less. But my question is if the people who work here actually wonder how much they are hurting themselves and the people they work for, and if hurting the people they work doesn’t matter, at least care not hurting yourself. Why do I say this? Well, you see, the machines inside taking my order that are supposed to be helping the person taking orders, is not actually helping you, it was actually designed to replace you! People are tired of being treated poorly by people who have no people skills. And business owners know this! They know that machines can handle people better. As I walked in this place this morning to get coffee and a mcgridle, all I could hear is gossip from the employees, english and spanish! The lady moping the floor (lovely spanish lady) although working hard, she was having a full blown conversation about something serious, loud! And I could hear it and understand it! How am I supposed to “smile” or enjoy my breakfast when I have to hear all this? Then, what it look luke a manager, a spanish loud lady came out and took the moping lady aside to have a conversation about some gossip about some kitchen people! Again, I could hear it and understand it! The only person that seem to be working and doing something was a young asian girl that was being bossed around by what it seem like everyone who works here is a manager but not her. What a terrible experience and toxic place. Usually I don’t waste my time writing about places like this but, I did it because the people who work at this places seem oblivious to the fact, and I do hope it happens, that machines will end up replacing their beloved jobs. Sorry but not sorry, you should have been better with treating people kindly so machines wouldnt have...
Read moreWhat has happened to this McDonald’s? Last night my husband and I went through to drive-thru which we don’t do very often but we were in a hurry and hungry. The guy taking the order was rude and took forever which was the reason line was so long. Then we get up to the “pick up window“ and the hateful women manager tells us to go down into “space two” wait for our food. We sat there for over 10 minutes along with other people so I went in to see if our food was ready. I see a sack that is sitting out in the open and I suspected that was ours and I was right. There is no telling how long it was sitting there! The guy that took the order in the drive-through, the manager lady and another blond headed lady were all sitting there laughing and talking while all of the people waiting on their food were sitting scattered in the spaces designated parking spots. . When I asked if that was our food, one of the hateful women handed it to me as if she was extremely put out and I quickly checked the fries and, as I expected, they were ice cold! I asked if we could have some fresh, hot fries so one of the women threw some fries in a sack and just shoved it at me. I was so mad I snatched the sack out of her hand and walked out saying a few choice words on my way! I will never, ever go to that McDonald’s again! Absolutely ridiculous! After I walked out, I told the other cars that were waiting on their food that they should go in and ask for because most likely it was sitting there getting cold too! Also, it was so expensive! $20 for two cheeseburgers, two fries and two small drinks! Horrible...
Read moreI've been to this McDonald's during the day a few times. For the most part, staff is super friendly. There has been a couple of times that my order was wrong, but the person taking the order was new. No big deal. It happens. I went late for the first time. Around midnight. It wasn't busy. Two cars in the drive-thru ahead of me. Seemed like a long wait. I wasn't really watching the time, but it just seemed like we had been sitting there a long time. We finally get outlr order taken. The man taking our order is struggling to get our order right. He finally gets pretty close and I tell him that's it. We get to the window to pay and he says 'you're good.' I'm confused. What do you mean? I still need to pay. He's like oh, okay and takes my card. Get to the other window and female manager asks me what's on my order. I start to tell her and before I can get it out, she slams the window and walks off. She comes back obviously angry and shoves a bag of food in my face and then aggressively gives me the drinks. She was glaring mad. There's rude and then there's this. This was beyond rude. I work in long hours in the food industry. I work short-staffed and I understand stress. Never would I treat a guest like that. She does not need to be in management. Man taking orders...
