El Sol Del Caribe — Restaurant in Jersey City

I am giving them a ratings of zero stars but I had to put one star on here in order to post this, but they don’t deserve one star at all. I ordered turkey wings with rice and red beans and macaroni and cheese. They called me and told me that they didn’t have turkey wings so I ended up saying OK roasted chicken, macaroni and cheese and a salad because they didn’t have steamed vegetables, which I asked for OK so I made that clear. I never received my order, but I got a text message saying that my order was delivered when I clicked on the text message, it says this where the order was delivered. It showed black. There was no picture showing where it was delivered. I even went downstairs and was waiting. My order never came so I called back to the restaurant to inform the lady that my order never came, and it showed up that the order was deliverednow all of a sudden the lady says oh you have to give it some time. The order is coming. Even after I told her that it said it was delivered so she hung up I called back again now it’s a busy signal.I went on Grubhub clicked on Help put my information in and they refunded me my $32.88 OK right away and I will never order from this restaurant again because when I called back to speak to the ladies they put the phone on Busy signal so I couldn’t talk to them so guess what you get a bad review from me I’m giving zero stars that’s bad for business. I don’t appreciate how I was treated not one bit and it was unacceptable. I will never order...

The people there will give you one price and then the next day the price is totally different. They try to higher the prices on you . Always make sure to ask for a receipt and some of the ladies there can be so rude always looking at me wrong. They'll look at you wrong if you're spanish but you don't speak it fluently. Ladies that work there fix your faces please stop looking at people wrong then maybe you'll get better tipped .

Update : I went to this store today and I usually get just a plate of rice beans and chicken but when the lady charged me it was more than usual so I asked her for a receipt so when I checked my receipt she charged me for an item that I didn't even purchase . Mind you she was there the whole time I was ordering and I stood in line the entire time I didn't go to the fridge but she tried to charge me for sodas . Be very careful. Thank God I asked for a receipt. They do that...

Solid good Dominican food, hearty, delicious and healthy options for diabetics as well; delicious roasted Chicken, pork, octopus salad, yucca, several varieties of rice and beans, even Ceviche.

If you find local police or Sherrif's department officers in any restaurants, that means it's delicious and affordable. I saw both here in my visit, cheers boys in blue.

My roasted chicken over black beans and rice was delicious, I asked for stewed chicken broth to go over the rice (which I asked for a very small portion of), and several slices of avocado on top, there was a small upcharge of $1 and they were very friendly and accommodating.
