The best Pakistani BBQ I have had in the US. Even better than many of the BBQ joints back home in Pakistan. Their menu is crisp and on-point. The space is open and clean. I appreciate the prayer space in the back. The serving time was great. We ordered the Bihari Kabab, Chicken Tikka Leg, Chicken Seekh Kabab, Paratha and Naan. Bihari Kababs were awesome. Melt in your mouth and great taste. Spice level was a bit high for our taste buds. Chicken Seekh Kabab was juicy and well done. Again a little too spicy. I would suggest that they should let us choose spice level on these dishes. The Chiclen Tikka was just perfect. So tender, juicy, crispy on the top and juicy from the inside. My kids loved it. The Chutnis were the winners. They made the whole dining experience exotic. The paratha complimented the food genre and Naans were also one of the best. Overall we were in food coma and still missing the great food we had over there. Surely going back whenever we visit Houston again. Please open a branch in Austin :) Highly recommended.

I recently had the opportunity to dine at Bundu Khan with a group of six people, and I wanted to share some feedback regarding our experience. While we were excited to try your renowned BBQ offerings, our visit was unfortunately marred by a few issues. Firstly, despite the restaurant not being particularly busy during our visit, we were surprised to see a gratuity of $46 added to our bill. This felt inappropriate given the size of our party and the overall service we received. Additionally, the manner in which the staff interacted with us was less than satisfactory. We felt rushed during our ordering process, and the communication could have been more courteous and professional. Also, if a person spent 260 dollars, u still charging gratuity. it doesn't make any sense Overall, our experience did not meet the expectations we had based on your reputation, and we left feeling disappointed. I hope you take this feedback into consideration to enhance the experience for future

A Nostalgic BBQ Experience – Just Like Home! This BBQ restaurant holds a special place in my heart. It was my grandfather’s favorite spot for dinner after doctor visits back in Karachi, and seeing it again after so many years here in Houston felt incredibly nostalgic. The food quality remains top-notch, just as I remember. The puri paratha was outstanding—it instantly took me back home. Every visit here has been a delightful experience, and I’ve returned multiple times, each time leaving just as satisfied. For anyone who loves authentic BBQ, this place is a must-try. My only suggestion? Consider expanding the menu with more varieties of Karachi-style rolls—the ultimate grab-and-go treat! Highly recommended! Thank you for bringing a taste of home to Houston.

i had a feeling this was a bad restaurant the MOMENT I STEP FOOT in it, my mother was ordering for us, it was only 2 people, me and my mom, we sat down and it took a few minutes to get our food, it was pretty fast compared to other pakistani restaurants, the moment we got our food, a big fly was roaming around us, it kept going to me and the food near me that i got so pissed, it didn’t get away. the food was ok, but the paratha was cold, not warm or hot the moment it stepped on the table, my mother was on a phone call and the lady waitress or the cook kept clicking plates, it wouldn’t stop, she or he kept clicking plates for the whole time we were there, the food was pretty expensive but it was 31$, i literally have other stuff to do than to pay 31$ for this piece of crap, i’m short on money, and notice how it says ā€œnot really busyā€ on this map here? yea, ITS A FRAUD. barely ANYONE was there, only 2 people came in, one couldn’t even sit down while a man was just on his phone and waited longer than us, i feel bad for the people that go here, and PLEASE close up the kitchen, add a door or something, i can’t STAND hearing 20 plates click every 5 minutes during we eat. it was driving my mom crazy, when my mother saw the price, she was like ā€œ31$??ā€ and the cashier looked like he did not care, he could’ve gave a discount or something, they need money DESPERATELY. i saw a 1 ā˜… review about the price being 46$ higher cause it was 6 people (a party.) and the total price for them was 330$ +, i cannot BELIEVE this, i don’t recommend especially if your a picky eater. there’s even staff just SITTING or STANDING there on their phones and the cashier is just sitting acting like a lady is not waiting for him to start taking her order, i did NOT hear them take her order, like again, she didn’t sit down.

i understand why barely anyone comes here, i need to start rating EVERY restaurant i go to and look at reviews, this is my first time rating a restaurant and this one did NOT go well, they also have offbrand drinks, say it tastes like coke, etc and they call it a day.

(DO NOT RECOMMEND, i know WAY more restaurants better than this one, try Savoy...

Customer service very bad. They know people coming their because of the name of "Bundu Khan" plus halal food. So they don't care a bit. First I tried ordering on phone, they took order and then said I need to pay on phone or else they will not take my order. I said I am still driving and 40 minutes away from them on freeway. None of their business. I still went their as I was coming from Dallas and wanted to eat here once before going back to Dallas. Once I got close, actually on the same road but because it was raining, it was dark and I was there for the first time, I got confused by the google map directions. I called to ask which side of the road they are or tell me the name of any big store so I find them in that particular shopping plaza. "Zero help", the person behind counter is acting as if I should no better. He is telling me the number of the shop..... well if you have a little bit of common sense, everyone has google map and of course I have your shop number in my google map. He could just say. look for big lot! would have been much easier. Of course over priced, zero customer service... at the same time I saw him charging a person's order before me who has ordered on phone. I asked him why would he take his order but not my order when I called. He said, they dont take order above $50 on phone. ...... very lame excuse. I waited in my car for 30 minutes, went back to take the order, and they are laughing at me together as they think it was funny they gave me a false excuse. Very typical Pakistani cheap men attitude. Bad customer...

Believe it or not, but for as long as I've been in Houston, I have yet to have visited this place... until now. I was apprehensive about trying barbecue that is not my own family members coming because we don't eat very spicy food and the one time I did have it at restaurant it was incredibly spicy and I could not eat it. We had told them about our spicy aversion, and they said that they would wash the chicken which they did, but we took the goat with full spice. It was completely worth it the barbecue here is delicious. Even with the chicken being washed before they barbecue it it still had quite a bit of spice on it and tasted great. We also got the paratha and bihari with sauces. The chutney is great. The worst is when they water it down and they did not do that over here and I am definitely appreciative of that. I want to take points off because it smelled like cigarette smoke during the time we were there? but not the entire time, which makes me think that someone was smoking in the kitchen because there was only a couple of other patrons there and they were not smoking, but either way I loved the food and would recommend to come here and try the delicious and...
