Saturday January 6, 2018 around 8:30 PM, my family and I stopped by to order dinner through the drive through and never did I imagine receiving the horrible service we received! We get to the drive thru and the lady on the speaker is laughing at something and trying to take our order at the same time. She asked us what we wanted and because of her horse playing in the back she kept asking "What?" "What do you want?" we repeated the order and the sides we wanted about 10 times and she still kept asking "what sides do you want?" So finally, we decided to drive up to the window. When we pull up to the window, one lady was holding a phone in her hand showing the other two something on her phone, they were laughing, while they all turned and saw us at the window. We were at the window for a few minutes, and they acknowledge we were there but none of them came to the window. I would understand if they were busy but the only customer they had was a man who was inside and no one ahead of us on the drive thru. Finally we got tired of waiting for them to come to the window and we park and get off to finally get our order. As soon as we walk in NEREYDA was completely rude and says "We already have your order, we just need to know the last side you wanted." We explained to her that we had to get off because no one was paying attention to us at the drive thru, she said it was not true but we explained that we repeated ourselves several times and that if she didn't know what the last side was it was because she was not paying attention to what we were saying. She finally gave us our order we paid and I was able to get her and LUPITA's name. I asked her to give me the name of the lady that was in the back but she refused, she asked what i wanted it for and I told her I was going to call and complain about the service. Very sarcastically and rude she giggled and said for what? These managers and owners aren't gonna do anything to us! I told her that it didn't matter but that as long as they know what type of employees they were. And she giggled and said she didn't care. I took a look at the dinning room, not one guest inside or at the drive thru and the dinning room did not look presentable, the tables were dirty, I would not eat at a restaurant that dirty. Read moreWorst fast food experience--EVER. The cashier was also preparing boxes of food. He went from handling money to fixing boxes, without benefits of washing his hands or putting on gloves. When my turn came, I asked if he would call one of the food handlers to fix my food.
The food handler was there and I explained to her. However neither of them spoke English. I told them in Spanish the cashier was not supposed to handle money and food. Because the food handler had already placed a portion of my food in the Box I requested to be given another box. Instead a food handler just threw my Food Bag to the side and she began assisting other people.
The food handler said her name was Angie. She took great delight and laughed about withholding my food. She said by complaining I was indicating I didn't want my food. I told her I'd paid for it and wished to be served in the order I should be in. I did not have an attitude about it. I was actually trying to stop them from getting shut down.
By the way they probably should be shut down. Food handlers should not handle the money, and money handling should not handle food unless gloves are intermittently warn. I would not ever visit this establishment again. Nor would I ever recommend this establishment.
I have an issue with people working in an establishment who cannot communicate with their clients. Angie could have apologized and fixed my order. Instead she chose to be very combative.
I looked around at the people standing and sitting who were waiting for their orders. The demographics are poor working/to working class. I told the people near me to "demand great service." Don't let people give them "poor service when they are paying for good service."
I felt so bad. This entire encounter was wrought with inconsistencies, disrespect, and disregard. Yes. This establishment should be visited often by food service regulators. My stomach began hurting after eating the food. Advice: Steer clear...
Read moreThis is the FIRST time I've been in a fast food place with bullet proof plexi plastic around the counter! I went inside bc I don't know the menu at all...I'm having to order through little holes like I'm at a gas station at 3am! The guy taking the order was clearly in training and not interested in being there, he didn't listen very well, I had to repeat my simple order at least 3x. He was not friendly or engaging. They didn't have what I wanted ready... I wanted 3 mild wings, all they had was 2 mild so I changed my order to a two piece. I got my order and had to ask for my cup which he grabbed not around the base but by the rim so he handed my cup to me with his finger inside the cup. This annoyed me bc he's at the register handling one of the dirtiest things of all time... money. I could have asked for a new cup. I could have gotten an attitude, but instead I said a quick prayer and proceed to get my own drink at the self serving soda fountain. The food was just ok. I haven't been to church's chicken in decades. They still cut their wings huge with a chunk of white breast meat on the drum part of the wing. The wings were super juicy but bland...0 flavor... wings can be mild and still flavorful. This was no taste. The mac n cheese and dirty rice also bland like zero flavor. I didn't like the rice at all. It was gross and super wet.The biscuits, however were on point. They could have had more honey butter glaze but still delicious. I probably won't ever go back . . That nostalgic taste was not there ... but if I have a hankering for biscuits that 3 for $1.79 is good and I can go through the drive through for that.... then I wouldn't have to see the bullet...
