Pho 45 — Restaurant in Jersey Village

Came here due to the high rating/reviews and came out disappointed that I came here. The menu is quite small which is not a biggie, but unfortunately what they have is not very good. We order the BBq pork rice plate and the egg roll vermicelli. The BBq rice plate wasnt too bad, the pork I will write is marinated well and isn't chewy. The sauce is boring compare to some other Vietnamese I have tried. The cucumber was not fresh. The egg roll vermicelli was worse. The egg roll themselves were okay and the noodle was at least luke warm, however there was lots of brown vegetables underneath. I am pregnant so I kept on having to check to make sure I wasn't eating a brown bean sprout or a off cucumber.

There was no service. We were given the food and just pretty much left alone. We had to ask for a refill of ice tea. There is a .50 service charge if your bill comes up less than $10.00 so I paid cash. But the guy said he "rang it up wrong" and I think he may have short change me but I am not sure. Either way I won't come back here. Food is not fresh and service is hardly there. At least the restaurant and toliet is clean...

My family and I have been coming here since I was a kid and I am never disappointed with the food when we eat here. The staff are always nice and friendly, the service is quick, and the food is always cooked perfectly. My family love to come here for the Pho of course, but I'm a huge fan of rice plates. My two favorite types to order when I'm here are either the Com thit nuong or the com bo luc lac. Pretty much the BBQ grilled pork plate with rice or the fried rice with cubed beef. I am 25, and my family has been coming here since I was around 4 or 5. The food here has ALWAYS, without a shred of a doubt been fresh and handmade. The owner watched me grow up and Everytime I come in she treats me like it's my first time here, but she knows exactly what I want.

Never heard anyone say a single negative thing about this place, and I won't either. Food, staff, everything, 5 stars.
