I wished I would've took a picture of my food before I returned it. I've never in my life had food just thrown so sloppy in a bag, presentation is everything!!! Plus my beans and rice was missing. However, the worst part is when I went back with my receipt to ask for a refund. I asked this lady at the register for a refund, she claimed she didn't know how to do refunds so I asked for the manager. She then stated she is the manager. How are you the manager and NOT know how to give a refund?!?!? Refunds are part of training, it's part of your job. She was mad and didn't want to give me a refund. I asked for the corporate number and she said she didn't know it. I Goggled the number and this woman goes to help anorher customer. REALLY?? No ma'am, you will not ignore me. She was rude, unprofessional, not helpful, not courteous and never apologized for my food being thrown uncovered in the bag. The food looked dry and way too crispy and some of it was even missing. I don't know who she called or what was said because she started talking in Spanish. She ended up giving me a refund but she definitely didnt want to and made that very clear by her horrible attitude. Then I asked for my receipt and she stated that she couldn't give it to me....REALLY!!!! She didn't want to give me my receipt back because it has the store number on it ( store 11686) but I left with a copy of the receipt anyway. A paying customer should never have to repeatedly ask for a refund. A paying customer should never leave without being given their receipt. A paying customer should always be given great service and everything that they paid for. This location is horrible! The food is sloppy and the customer service is worse! My experience was very unpleasant and I will NEVER return. I did file a complaint against that location. Please go to another location where your food and...
Read moreWas exemplary, when it first opened, but tonight we went and they had no chicken nuggets, which are on their menu board.
Their chicken batter is harder than gravel, stones, or rocks, and it will crack your teeth. The manager told me he would refund our order, for $30.61, and even ran a reversal right in front of me, but then they later cancelled the reversal, and charged us the $30.61 anyways. Stay away from this unethical place, because it's a danger to your teeth and a waste of your money, which they will not refund.
Wait time for the food was about forty-five minutes, for some customers, and about five minutes for other customers. Another customer, who'd been waiting before me with his wife, remarked to me, 'They always get at least a number of things wrong with our order, and we've been back here three times, just tonight, still trying to get our order completed correctly.'
We ordered a twelve-piece, and our chicken batter was rock hard! I have an abscessed tooth and this was an extremely painful meal. OUCH! It was like biting down on rocks, or stones, just trying to dig down to see if there was any actual bird beneath the gravel hard batter.
Their red beans and rice are almost tasteless, with no taste to them. And, just as another reviewer stated, they charge like three bucks just for a side of gravy.
Next time I will, oh so conveniently, drive, almost less than a mile, upto the Church's Chicken, up at the Mall, and enjoy a five-star chicken dinner while simultaneously paying about ten to twenty bucks less than Popeyes.
I keep having to remind whoever I'm with how far down the commode Popeye's has gone, but their flashy look, bright orange logo, and nice looking, modern, new, restaurants keep drawing the slow thinking diners in,...
Read moreWon't be going to this Popeyes again. I work nights. Had already worked 8 hours and hadn't eaten in 20 hours. I was starving at arrived at 10:56 PM. I sat at the drive thru window for two minutes and someone came on and said "we are closed". I stated "Don't you all close at 11?". This person said "he doesn't have any cooks and that they've all gone".
I sat there and didn't say anything while I was typing a review. At 11 PM on the dot, someone came on and said "all we have is spicy". I said "that's fine. Do you have legs?" he stated "Yes". I said "Ok, I will get two legs". He asked what side I wanted and I said fries. I get to the window and pay my $7.57 and I leave. I look in my bag and see they gave me two chicken sandwiches, which I assume was just a way to of saying "we apologize for the inconvenience". Nope. My bag was wet. I got a box of chicken with breast and wings and two chicken sandwiches.
NOTHING THAT I ORDERED! Even if it was just the legs, I would have been fine, I didn't care about the side, but they gave me what they wanted and it was like a slap in the face and charged me.
Then I look at the chicken sandwich bags and someone wrote on them.
After opening the box to inspect it once I made it back to work. There is a bone in there where it looks like someone already ate it and threw the bone in the box. I will be calling this establishment first thing in the morning.
I don't know what type of games this establishment is playing but it's not one I am just going to let slide. I feel stupid for...
