I arrived at this sonic at 2:22, and I placed an order for a foot long coney. I asked for it to be fresh. I was told it’ll be a 15 minute wait I said that’s fine no problem. I was still placing my order when the order taker switched to the car hop besides me. I entered through the drive through, and I let the person I was speaking with know I wasn’t done with my order. They were very rude while I was still talking, and said the headset switches from one car hop to the next, and then drive thru. Also it was said my foot long coney would take 15-20 minutes and they asked what else did I want to add. I said nothing due to the fact the customer service was poor, and it was 3 minutes 15 minutes ago. When I gotten to the window there was no greeting or anything just “I can’t charge you because I have to wait for that temp to drop to 167 and I needed to park and wait 15 minutes plus the temp dropping” when I asked why wasn’t I told about the temp drop I was told “I’m not obligated to tell you” this entire situation was with the GM CHELSEA. I told her I’ll change my order, so I wouldn’t hold up the line. She stated she couldn’t take orders at the window, and that’s what the car hop was for. She walked away & I sat my phone in my cup holder toward facing her, and when she came back to the window after me telling her I’ll wait at the window to get my food after me sitting there for 9 minutes she says she’s not serving me. I asked her why, and she began to recite the Texas state laws. I asked her what was her reason and she said she has her own reasons. She stated she wouldn’t mind giving me any number I needed. I never asked for a number her level of professionalism was just never experienced ever. Especially by a general manager. Going verbatim with a customer, and talking with your hands. I never disrespected her, but only wanted my food. If this is how customers get treated I’ll never eat at any sonic. While writing this I’m sitting in the drive thru still while she calls the police on me. I pray for this young woman, and this business that have these kind of people working in it. She thought she was being recorded and whole time she wasn’t. I’m 5 months pregnant I don’t argue with anyone or do I have to. I left the drive thru at 2:53. I apologized to the customers whom I held the line up behind since they honked at me while leaving. I sat in the drive thru writing the review. I’ve never been treated like that ever. Chelsea should practice acts of kindness or compassion it goes a long way. You don’t have to be ugly spirited. She was very nonchalant, adamant, and bold to say she will give me the numbers I need. I let God deal with people. I pray God have as much grace over her. Every customer isn’t the same. She also states I knew what took place before I started recording. She was intimidated by thinking she was getting recorded due to how my phone...
Read moreThe day manager is a real sweetie. He’s always so friendly and so nice and comes out to greet you and it’s just an overall cool person. However his staff always seems to be in a hurry and irritated even though they have a smile on their face it looks like you’re forcing them at gunpoint to do so. It’s impossible here to ever get condiments and when you ask for them the staff always seems really put out by it. That bothers me because at every other sonic in the United States they usually have ketchup or sugar or whatever in their apron pocket to assist when a customer asks for napkins or ketchup. But at this location I don’t know if it means that they are just short on catchup packets and maybe the employees get tested if they have to go back in and get something for a customer but it really ruins the dining experience when you see your car hop rolled her eyes at you to go and get something that should’ve been included in the first place. The only reason I’m giving it four-star is because I love the route 44 drinks and ice and the manager is a great example of how all employees should act. I do hope that he sees us and uses the constructive criticism to remind cops that he can 100% change a persons opinion of a restaurant if they forgot some thing to just smile genuinely and say no problem let me get that for you. Because it isn’t a problem or at least it shouldn’t be. But a comment of yeah Fine hold on and an eye roll really sours the experience no matter how good the food is you’re not gonna want to come back to this location....
Read moreAbsolutely horrible experience! I went through the drive through and had to wait 5min before anyone acknowledged me only because I said “hello” loudly into the speaker. The guy came on took the order and everything he repeated was incorrect so I had to say the order 3 separate times. (3 drinks and a medium fry) simple right?! After I get to the window the girl mumbles what sounds like my order and I pay. She hands one of the drinks that is clearly incorrect. I asked is this the cream slush to which she said “that’s not what you ordered” I said yes I did and I said it 3 times. She said “I said your order and you said it was correct” then she said “idk who took the order” I said well a guy and there aren’t a lot of people working I’m sure you can figure it out” she proceeded to argue my drink so I said “are you calling me a liar” she rolled her eyes and took the drink brought it back with a busted lid and the drink exploded in the drink holder. It got all over my vehicle and was so sticky and messy I couldn’t even drink it. This was clearly on purpose and I hope management cleans the staff up especially in this economy you can’t afford to lose customers due to poor service even if it is just a drink...
