Unfortunately, this is not a good review; though it is a truthful account. After a long day of working, my only time away from my Studio for a break, I decided to visit Starbucks (12623 Tomball Parkway; Houston, TX) I mobile order to avoid the line on the inside. My friend orders but they don't call his name so his order is sitting on the pick up counter area. My name is not called either so I check the counter and both of our drinks are there; just sitting. My friend is not happy that they put the wrong name on his label; even though, he verbally spoke to the cashier. My drink (Grande Pikes in a Venti cup- which I order to ensure room for my extra whipped cream) is very sub-par and not at all hot (see photo). I ask for assistance and the "barista" says in a loud voice (through the mask that she's wearing) "Were not supposed to talk to you! You need to wait for a manager!" Very taken aback by that response, I wait for the "manager" (who is actually a shift leader). I show her the drink and instead of apologizing for the gross mistake (or deliberate act; as it is not at all the proper way to make the drink), the shift leader proceeded to tell me that my "order is a Grande and so I shouldn't expect a full cup of coffee"...REALLY?... I never expect- nor do I ask for- a full cup of coffee; BUT I do expect more than what was made- which was LESS THAN a Tall sized drink. The shift leader proceeded to tell me that I am loud-talking her (which, I wasn't; though, I was direct at letting her know that the quality and quantity of my drink was unacceptable) and that I needed to leave....Leave?? Not without my refund. So she (I believe it is a she; as her apron read "JEMY" or something to that affect) returns my expense (cost of my coffee and a Doughnut) and I leave. Very unprofessional and disrespectful treatment; a very bad experience. It is no wonder this location has fallen in their rating. The afternoon/evening crew at this location on this day are those giving Starbucks a bad image. I didn't do a video or a recording of this travesty because I am more respectable than that. Besides, the truth doesn't need to be recorded- only spoken

Ā Ā Ā Read moreUsually always have good customer service at a lot of Starbucks I go to, but this one is a miss. And Iāve gotten good service here before, but itās not consistent. I went to order a modified hot chocolate, and the drive thru guy seemed very upset I kept adding to the hot chocolate. I originally ordered a tall and then asked for a grande instead. And he asked me, āare you sure you want it a grande?ā Like as if changing the size was a major inconvenience on his part. I asked if he was bothered by the order since I can see him on the screen, every time I added a mod, his body language gave off annoyance. and his excuse was there was a new barista on bar. I get it, Iām a barista too, and Iāve had new partners train during peak, but I donāt take it out on customers for lack of planning on where to put baristas. And to also add, there were only two other cars ahead of me, so itās not like they were slammed with drive thru customers. When I got to the window, the guy doesnāt say hi, doesnāt say oh sorry about the hassle, but he does say that āI donāt have an attitude, our numbers and customer interaction are always great, have a good dayā like dude, who says that to a customer? And this is from one partner to another, I canāt imagine what itās like for customers. So whoever the black guy working nights was, work on your body language and your service . And to add insult to injury they still got...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI came in on an empty night, waited 10 minutes at the register with not even an acknowledgment from any of the staff, so I went to take a seat and ordered from the app. Next time, learned from lesson so instead of wasting my time, I ordered straight from the app and took a seat. Not even 2 minutes later, someone was sent out to tell me that I have to order something in order to sit here, essentially kicking me out in front of other customers. I said, āI ordered from the appā, and not even an apology before she turned to walk away. Perhaps work on your customer service and orders instead of petty stuff. Take people orders faster instead of standing around chit chatting and being a jerk. Also, if thatās something you want to implement, some people need a couple minutes to think about what they want to order. I wish theyād take my orders and finish making it as fast as they were trying to kick me out, my jacket was still on. Those memes about Starbucks employees working the job they applied for is...
